Historically, Twitter’s management has been overwhelmingly biased in favor of the Democrat left. In recent years they’ve shamelessly censored or outright banned many highly regarded Republicans and/or conservatives without being held accountable. Do any specific victims come to mind? Presumably, Musk will be ending that practice.
Like everyone else, Barack Obama was anticipating the Musk-Twitter deal when he made a much-publicized speech on April 21. In that speech, he suggested the federal government needs to help ensure there’s MORE (not less) “content moderation” on social media – especially regarding “lies, disinformation, or quackery.”

Six days later (on April 27) there was a seemingly rushed announcement by the incompetent, but obsequious, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas regarding a newly created entity within his department called the “Disinformation Governance Board” (DGB) – purportedly to provide “oversight” for security purposes. Imagine that.
Arousing even more suspicion, Mayorkas (testifying on May 5 before a Senate committee) claimed to know virtually nothing about the well-documented background of the 33-year-old, Republican-hating, far-left activist picked to run the DGB. Who chose her and why?
Hillary Clinton (yes, she’s still alive) has also gotten into the act. She’s urging the left-leaning European Union (EU) to enact a massive censorship measure called the “Digital Services Act” (DSA). If it becomes law, DSA will prohibit the posting of certain content on social media that the 27-nation EU deems unacceptable by their standards. Twitter and others would need to comply.
