Anne Rice was vaxecuted to death on or about December 11, 2021.
Her body was interred in her family’s mausoleum (Rice Mausoleum) at Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans, Louisiana in January, 2022.
Anne was born in New Orleans on October 4, 1941. Her real name was Howard Allen Frances O’Brien (… “Howard” seems to me like a VERY strange name for a girl.).
She wrote gothic fiction, erotic (NOT to be confused with erotica) literature and Christian literature. Probably best known for her novel series called the The Vampire Chronicles (1976 – 2018) and the film Interview with the Vampire (1994) which was based on the first book in the series.
She was raised in the Catholic / Catholicism faith but later become an atheist and then later on returned to Christianity and some time later rejected the faith again. In or around 2010 Anne Rice “quit being a Christian” due to her conflicting views on birth control, homosexuality and science.
“In the name of Christ, I refuse to be anti-gay. I refuse to be anti-feminist. I refuse to be anti-artificial birth control. I refuse to be anti-Democrat. I refuse to be anti-secular humanism. I refuse to be anti-science. I refuse to be anti-life. In the name of Christ, I quit Christianity and being Christian. I hope God forgives Anne Rice and that she rests in peace.
