What happened to Pamela Barnett’s book, Obama Never Vetted?

barnnet bookWhat happened to Pamela Barnett’s book, Obama Never Vetted?

I understand that it was released at Amazon.com in digital format for free sometime back in November, 2012 shortly before the US Presidential election.  At some point after that it appears that the e-book might have been selling for $9.99 on Amazon.

Apparently the book was supposed to be published in paperback at some point in the future but, as of yet, has not.

Moreover, the Amazon.com listing no longer exists, at all.  Typically when a book is no longer available (i.e., sold out, no longer published, or nobody is selling it at the moment) the listing page is still accessible.  It seems that this is not the case with Barnett’s book, Obama Never Vetted.  Here is a screenshot of what was once the Amazon listing page for Barnett’s book:

Here is the Google cache of the Amazon book review for Obama Never Vetted:

Here is one of the last (might could be others) radio interviews (Jan. 27, 2013) with Pamela Barnett regarding her book, Obama Never Vetted:

I am curious as to what has happened to Barnett’s e-book.  Will it be sold again?  Is a paperback version still coming?

Confirming: According to the following link on Amazon, Capt (ret) Barnett’s e-book is listed as ‘currently unavailable’.

I viewed the complete 1/25/2013 interview video embedded in the post and my GUESS as to what has occurred, causing the book to be ‘currently unavailable’, is as follows:

Starting at about the 13.55 mark on the video, Pamela starts talking about how to order and download her e-book, ‘Obama Never Vetted’. She then states that there is TROUBLE with the EXHIBITS in the book being clearly and completely visible on the download and also that these exhibits comprise 2/3rds of the entire book. She mentions something about e-mailing her if one experiences problems viewing the exhibits. She then talks about sending out a ‘private link’ to view the book online and download it.

My THEORY regarding the matter is that Pamela has temporarily withdrawn the book from availability on Amazon until the ‘exhibit visibility’ problem can be corrected.

I checked the following two websites associated with Pamela and both sites currently still show the inactive link to Amazon, and I did not see any explanation regarding the problem.

Hopefully, the e-book will soon be made available again through normal channels. We need to monitor the situation and advise folks if and when it does again become available.

Thank you Bruce. I agree with your assessment. And I will keep my eye out for any news regarding Barnett’s book and when it becomes available again I will make a post here again on the blog.
