It looks like President Trump is standing up for Ashli Babbit and the January 6th (2020) protestors. He states that Ashli was a “wonderful and incredible woman” and that the January 6th protesters, many of whom are in jail and/or facing criminal charges, are all being treated “unbelievably unfairly.”
Trump asks, “Who shot Ashli Babbit,” and goes on state that he knows who it was and that we all know (the information is public regardless of whether or not it’s an official statement by the US Gov.). He states that he’s spoken to Babbit’s mother. He states that Ashli was shot for “no reason” and also asks why are so many people still in jail for January 6th.
