Hannity: Caravan Now Numbers as Many as 15,000

(Oct. 22, 2018) — On Monday’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity reported that the Central-American “caravan” on its way to the U.S. for nearly a week now contains approximately 15,000 people.

The number of travelers has ebbed and flowed since the group began its trek October 13 in Honduras. On Monday morning, mainstream media outlets reported that as many as 7,000 people were making their way north, with an additional thousand in a second caravan originating in Guatemala following.

Earlier on Monday Trump told USA Today that he intends to send the U.S. military to the border if the caravan’s progress is not halted, as he had first mentioned on Thursday.  On Monday morning, Trump called the approaching caravan a “national emergency.”
