Yahoo predicts that Barack Obama will win the 2012 Presidential election…

There was a time when I really enjoyed reading Yahoo News but for a year or more now I’ve noticed that nearly all of their articles are super subjective and these days it sort of induces a vomiting sensation in my stomach.

Read their article here.   “With fewer than nine months to go before Election Day, The Signal predicts that Barack Obama will win the presidential contest with 303 electoral votes to the Republican nominee’s 235.”

Please exercise your free speech in the comments section below.   Speak your mind, give us your thoughts, both objective and subjective.   Share your ideas, hunches, inklings or your expertise.   Please provide recommendation and corrections if you spot errors in fact within the blog report.   Lastly, remember that posting a comment is much like casting a vote, so please do so.

About Lucas Daniel Smith

"The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers."

As a broad general statement, I think the outcome of the November 2012 election is presently too close to responsibly call, because of the large number of unique and in some cases absolutely unprecedented factors involved.

Perhaps ‘Yahoo News’ is honestly trying to predict the event outcome based on their scientific model, which has apparently performed quite well in the past. However, I suspect they are more likely trying to subliminally influence the American public to either ‘jump on board and back the predicted winner (Obama)’ or ‘give up trying to defeat the unbeatable Manchurian Muslim from Mombasa’.

One of the major problems with the prediction is alluded to by the following statement in the article:

“… please note that (the model) predicts only probabilities of victory, and that many states are nearly toss-ups.”

Small changes in vote count could easily result in a Republican victory. For example, as shown in the chart, the three states, VA, OH and PA are currently given the probabilities of about 52%, 53% and 67% of going for Obama. These states control 13, 18 and 20 electoral votes, respectively. If just these three relatively ‘on the fence’ states actually end up with Republican victories, the result would be 286 electoral votes for the Republican candidate and only 252 votes for Obama, signifying a Republican victory.

How could Pennsylvania, now with a Yahoo-assigned probability of 67% favoring Obama, end up with a Republican victory in November? Well, please consider the result of a successful ballot challenge by CDR Charles Kerchner (Ret) in that state as described in the following link:

    http://obamareleaseyourrecords.blogspot.com/2012/02/press-conference-set-for-friday-after.html

Also significant I think, is the fact that the entire country is currently in an almost unprecedented state of flux. The situation on the ground is changing rather dramatically on a daily basis. We are experiencing economic problems not seen since the 1930s. However, the article calmly states that the Yahoo scientists are assuming it is all pretty much business as usual in 2012, as indicated in the following quote:

“The Yahoo! model assumes that the president’s approval rating will stay the same between now and mid-June, that each of the 50 states will report personal income growth that is average for an election year, and that certain key indicators of state ideology will remain unchanged this year.”

Will Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio reveal something really ‘shocking’ regarding Obama, as promised, on March 1st? If he does, this could significantly hurt Obama’s chances for reelection.

Will any of the Obama Ballot Access challenges be successful?

Will the USA be at war with Iran within the next few months? (Never let a crisis go to waste!). If so, this could significantly boost Obama’s chances for reelection.

Will the many folks currently answering those frequent, short, casual polls who SAY they are supporting Obama, really do so in November in the quiet, serious solitude of a voting booth? It might be nice to feel good and publicly state, “I am going to vote to give our ‘first black president’ another 4 years in office”. It’s another thing entirely, to go into a booth and actually cast an irretrievable vote to help assure another 4 long years with the economically-incompetent, job-killing, central-government-expanding, broadly-devisive, America-hating current occupant at the helm.

I greatly dislike Romney, who obviously is the political-establishment-backed and big-money-backed candidate, and who I believe will probably be the winner of the Republican nomination! I’m just trying to be realistic here. Furthermore, I dislike or have major objections regarding ALL the other current Republican candidates. Nevertheless, I will ‘hold my nose’ and vote for anyone, Republican or Democrat, who I believe is the best candidate presented in November, as long as it is not Obama!

If Romney wins in November, for example, I know it will just be more ’business as usual’ in Washington. He is definitely not going to shake things up. Despite his claims and party affiliation, he is basically a ‘left-of-center Democrat’. The NWO continues to be fully in control. However, I do think Romney is a reasonably competent business man and he is financially savvy. He has been a governor of a major state. I think he is a capable individual.

I am quite sure Romney, unlike Obama, does NOT HATE America, and for me, that is a BIG plus.

I think Moderate-Socialist Romney could beat Radical-Left-Socialist Obama in November, if given a reasonably fair chance (unfortunately not likely due to widespread vote fraud, but we can hope). This is a sad commentary on the current education, mental capabilities and value priorities of the American Electorate!

The current tragic state of affairs in the USA did not start with Obama, although he has now made our political and economic prospects MUCH WORSE and he is rapidly putting our national security in SERIOUS JEOPARDY! We, as a country, have been on a gradual-slant, downward spiral for decades. Our situation must somehow be at least stabilized for a few years so that leaders can emerge, wrongs can be righted, and recovery can begin.

OBAMA MUST GO! He is actively working AGAINST all that needs to be accomplished. Everything else regarding the November election is of secondary importance!

all polls currently indicate an Obama victory in November. We know that the final outcome will depend upon the speed of economic recovery and possibly some unpredictable event between now and November. I believe that the dire state of birther challenges is slightly damaging whoever will be the Republican nominee. I say slightly because the story has certainly moved out of the spotlight. Time is running short and this insisting with court challenges in the hope of bumping into a friendly judge is a loosing strategy. There is only one way to credibly de-legitimize the President, and that is proving he was born in Kenya. So put pressure on Lucas and bring his document to court.

  3. Bruce says:

Intrade, which claims to be ‘The World’s Leading Prediction Market’, is currently quoting a 59.8% chance of Barack Obama being re-elected President in 2012, as shown in the following link:

    http://www.intrade.com/v4/markets/contract/?contractId=743474

However, one must be careful not to place too much confidence in the 59.8% chance figure quoted since the daily share volumes traded are relatively low and could be easily and inexpensively manipulated by Obama operatives to boost his apparent support.

The current average daily volume traded is only about 10,000 shares and the share price is only about $6. Thus, one could buy ALL the shares traded in a single day with just $60,000. This is ‘pocket change’ for the major players involved in this monumental struggle. I imagine it would be quite easy to give Obama a very significant and widely visible ‘image boost’ on Intrade. Who knows?

I am looking forward to hearing Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s preliminary report from his ‘Cold Case Posse’ investigation on March 1st. He has promised to reveal something ‘shocking’! Could his revelation involve Obama’s birth in Kenya? We will just have to wait and see.

I did send the good Sheriff of Maricopa County, AZ, back at start of his investigation, a USPS cover letter with an enclosed copy of Obama’s August 4, 1961 authentic birth certificate from the Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.

The CPGH-BC certainly does have a very powerful and shocking way of focusing one’s attention on the many unsavory TRUTHS involving Obama! These days, as everyone who is closely paying attention to issues of importance knows, the truth is very difficult to identify.

WHAT THE HELL ! HAVE YOU GUYS READ MY LATEST POST ABOUT THE SUPREME COURT AGREEING TO HEAR THE CASE AGAINST obummer’s ‘ IN ‘ – ELIGIBILITY ??????? OF COURSE THE POLLS INDICATE HE WILL BE RE – ELECTED , AND ALL THE LAMESTREAM MEDIA SAY THAT . THEY ARE ALL BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY EXTREME LEFTWING LIBERALS (INCLUDING SOROS) . IT IS A KNOWN FACT THAT MANY GULLIBLE VOTERS WOULD VOTE THE WAY OF ‘ POLLS ‘ AND OTHER ‘ PREDICTIONS ‘ JUST TO BE ON THE BANDWAGON .
MIK TAERG IS JUST LIKE ALL THE TALKING HEADS ON FOX , NBC , ABC , etc. WHO CONSTANTLY SAY ” I BELIEVE ” & ” I THINK ” THIS OR THAT WILL HAPPEN . ” WE THE PEOPLE ” DO NOT CARE A RAT ‘ S ASS WHAT ‘ THEY ‘ SAY.
PURE LOGIC SAYS THAT THERE WILL BE ENOUGH PRESSURE PLACED ON THE COURTS OF 50 STATES AND D.C. TO WIN SEVERAL DECISIONS AND REMOVE THE HATED NAME OF obummer FROM A FEW BALLOTS . WE ONLY NEED 5 OR 6 STATES TO MAKE CERTAIN HE COULD NOT DEFRAUD THE VOTERS AGAIN .
SOME OF THE CHALLENGES ARE LED BY HIGH RANKING , WELL RESPECTED MILITARY OFFICERS ~ ( WITH STANDING ) .
MAKAHAYAN SENT email MESSAGES TO SHERIFF JOE , ALLEN WEST AND ANOTHER CHALLENGER WHEN ALLEN WEST WAS TO HAVE A MEETING WITH JOE ARPAIO . THE MESSAGE INCLUDED DETAILED INFO ABOUT THE KENYA BIRTH CERTIFICATE , ALTERED AFFADAVITS FOR obozo , AND OTHER DAMNING EVIDENCE .
AS THE TALKING HEADS SAY : ” I BELIEVE THE CHALLENGES WILL BE HEARD AND WILL BE THE EVIDENCE NECESSARY TO ” KICK THE BUM OUT “.

    @ ARNOLD CARL TAPP:
HERE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE FALLACY , INACCURACY AND FAILURE OF ‘ POLLS ‘ . AT THE TIME OF THE 2008 ELECTIONS , THE ‘ POLLS ‘ SHOWED THAT IN ALL 50 STATES , JOHN McCAIN WAS FAR AHEAD OF obummer .
YOU CAN IMAGINE MY ANGER AND DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE FINAL RESULT OF A STOLEN , FRAUDULENT ( JOKE ) ELECTION .

  6. Bruce says:

The following quote is an excerpt from the below linked 2/18/2012 article titled, ‘Changing Course’ by Judson Phillips on Tea Party Nation. It pretty well sums up my feelings about Romney and all the rest of the potential Republican candidates:

    http://www.teapartynation.com/forum/topics/changing-course

“In the past, I have certainly hinted that if Romney were the nominee, I would stay home.

    I have changed my mind.

    What changed my mind?

    Barack Obama did.

Do not get me wrong. A liberal Republican would be a disaster. Newt Gingrich at CPAC said we need a president who is not simply going to manage our decline, but we need a President who is going to change our trajectory.

A liberal Republican, and I don’t care which name you plug in there, will manage our decline.

As bad as a liberal Republican who will just manage our decline is, Barack Obama is worse. He recently announced plans to unilaterally reduce our nuclear weapons stockpile by 80%. He is gutting our military. He is doing everything in his power to destroy America as a superpower.

I don’t care how bad any of the potential liberal Republicans are, including Romney, none of them are anti-American Marxists.

None of them will deliberately weaken America so her enemies can destroy her. They may make bad policy decisions but they will not try to deliberately destroy our nation.

It makes me sick but if Mitt Romney is the nominee, I’m going to go out and vote for him. I’m not going to vote for a third party. I’m not going to simply not vote.”
