I have not seen any documentation certifying that Mitt Romney was born on US soil. How can we be certain that Romney is a Natural Born Citizen?
My special deputy research assistant (pictured in the photographs throughout his report) and I would also like to see official documentation regarding his parent’s birth places. I’d also like to know more about his parent’s past and present citizenship statuses.
I’ve read a few of reports regarding Romney’s eligibility/ineligibility and Natural Born Citizen status and they are linked as follows:
Mitt Romney, Natural Born Citizenship, and Media Bias. Posted on January 16, 2012 by Miri (@the We the People of the United States blog) – Miri abundantly supplies the reader with newspaper citations, census reports, Social Security Death Index citations, the U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization Handbook § 2:11, and names and bio data of Romney ancestors and even a photograph. Miri also provides the reader with several updates and corrections to the article. I’m not able to state here that I stand behind Miri’s report but I can state with certitude and conviction that it appears that Miri made an earnest and zealous effort to publish a richly informative, handsomely referenced semi-objective report.
Update: Ballot Challenge to Mitt Romney’s Eligibility Filed in Illinois. IS HE A “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN?” by Michael D. Jackson. Jan. 15, 2012. (@ the Post & Email website). – I support Michael D. Jackson’s ballot challenge to Mitt Romney’s eligibility.
