WASHINGTON, D.C.—Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has been pressed a lot on how she plans to pay for Medicare for All — a plan that could require $34 trillion in additional federal spending over ten years — without raising taxes on the middle class. Today, she finally revealed her plan: a new Canon color printer she purchased.
“Look at this,” Senator Warren told the press as she held up a standard letter-sized piece of paper on which she had printed eight one hundred dollar bills. “They look real. We just print enough of these, and we can pay for it all. And by the time anyone realizes they’re not real, we’ll be running away with all our Medicare.”
It’s not much of a secret that Democrats have ceased even trying to be a truly national party anymore. Tacking ever further to the left, the party continues to distance itself from entire geographic regions of the United States – most notably the Heartland and the northwestern mountain states. The dire ramifications for an Electoral College race are plain to see. But another growing menace faces veteran Dem elected officials. With the party isolating its appeal to urban and coastal blue fortresses, these pols are at the mercy of a progressive base of voters that grows ever more extreme and unsatisfied as the confines of the party’s bubble become more tightly constricted.
As the Diversity Turns
Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) is the latest example of a powerful congressional Democrat incumbent facing the very real threat of being hoisted on his own petard. The 16-term veteran, who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, represents a heavily urbanized district in the Bronx. There are numerous reasons dense urban areas tend to be progressive havens: Leftist college-educated young professionals flock to large cities, urban living seems to induce a belief in big government providing solutions, and buzzwords such as “diversity” and “multiculturalism” are easily embraced in more cosmopolitan domains.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to sources close to Hillary Clinton, the failed presidential candidate was gently returned to her padded cell disguised as the Oval Office over the weekend.
After the failed presidential candidate had escaped from the premises again and accused thousands of people of being Russian agents, orderlies were finally able to catch her and guide her back to her cell. She had escaped through the ventilation ducts, apparently, and quickly gave deranged interviews in which she seemed not to understand that she hadn’t won the 2016 election. She also found a smartphone and tweeted troubling things, causing asylum personnel to put out a call for her safe return.
President Donald Trump is converting the former “country club” GOP to the party of blue-collar Americans, according to an article in the Wall Street Journal:
Mr. Trump accelerated the movement of working-class voters into
the Republican Party, creating a GOP that now represents more middle-
and lower-income Americans … He has reframed much of the Republican
agenda to appeal to these voters, particularly on trade, immigration and
foreign affairs, in many cases upending 40 years of GOP policy.
In turn, the Democrats are increasingly the party of America’s wealthiest cities, post-industrial business leaders, and the “woke” professional class.
This political transformation, however, means that U.S. college graduates have few friends in Washington, D.C., to protect their economic interests in a shifting economy.

In case you just woke up from a four day coma, the weekend’s news cycle was dominated by an over-the-top intra-Democratic Party dispute between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard, a noted non-interventionist who, like President Trump, isn’t fond of the idea of endless, pointless, unwinnable wars across the ocean when there is so much to deal with on our own shores, predictably took issue with Clinton’s Friday podcast characterization of her as a “favorite of the Russians.”
The Hawaii congresswoman hit back hard, calling Clinton out as the “queen of warmongers” who has the blood of those killed in Iraq, a “war she championed,” unequivocally “on her hands.”

…. In 2016, Stein won enough votes in the key states of Wisconsin and Michigan to keep those states blue, had she been able to magically gift them to Hillary. In other words, it’s a pretty fair statement that, all other things being equal, a third party candidate, Jill Stein, may very well have cost Hillary Clinton the 2016 election.

… Already, Gabbard’s national profile is at least twice what it was before the weekend. Keep it up, and she could be hopping mad enough to go third party just to spite a Democratic establishment that long ago lost its non-interventionist way.

“What if I told you that you will have a black president very soon and he will be a Communist?”
The out-of-the-blue remark was met by our stares. She continued, “Well, you will; and he will be a Communist.”
It was then that the husband unsuccessfully tried to change the subject; but she was on a roll and would have nothing of it. One of us asked, “It sounds like you know something we don’t know.”
“Yes, it is true. This is not some idle talk. He is already born and he is educated and being groomed to be president right now. You will be impressed to know that he has gone to the best schools of Presidents. He is what you call “Ivy League”. You don’t believe me, but he is real and I even know his name. His name is Barack. His mother is white and American and his father is black from Africa. That’s right, a chocolate baby! And he’s going to be your President.”

So, what does this conversation from 1992 prove?
Well, it’s definitely anecdotal. It doesn’t prove that Obama has had Soviet Communist training nor that he was groomed to be the first black American president, but it does show one thing that I think is very important. It shows that Soviet Russian Communists knew of Barack from a very early date. It also shows that they truly believed among themselves that he was raised and groomed Communist to pave the way for their future. This report on Barack came personally to me from one of them long before America knew he existed. – (bold emphasis added)
Although I had never before heard of him, at the time of this conversation Obama was 30+ years old and was obviously tested enough that he was their anticipated rising star.

State Department investigators probing Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state discovered nearly 600 security incidents that violated agency policy, according to a report the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained.
The investigation, conducted by the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security, found 38 individuals were culpable for 91 security violations. Another 497 violations were found, but no individuals were found culpable in those incidents.
