According to recent reports U.S. Attorney John Durham and U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr are spending time on a narrowed focus looking carefully at CIA activity in the 2016 presidential election.  One recent quote from a media-voice increasingly sympathetic to a political deep-state notes:

“One British official with knowledge of Barr’s wish list presented to London commented that “it is like nothing we have come across before, they are basically asking, in quite robust terms, for help in doing a hatchet job on their own intelligence services””. (Link)

It is interesting that quote comes from a British intelligence official, as there appears to be mounting evidence of an extensive CIA operation that likely involved U.K. intelligence services.  In addition, and as a direct outcome, there is an aspect to the CIA operation that overlaps with both a U.S. and U.K. need to keep Wikileaks founder Julian Assange under tight control.  In this outline we will explain where corrupt U.S. and U.K. interests merge.

Robert Shiller, a Nobel Prize in Economics recipient and the Sterling Professor of Economics at Yale University, joined ARK Invest CEO Catherine Wood in a discussion this week about the embrace of disruptive technology in today’s narrative-driven economy at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in Detroit. 

Shiller: Narratives Resemble The Great Depression

A sort of fear bubble has emerged, with asset managers drawing upon indices, fixed income and private market assets for alpha, Shiller said. 

“Hardly anyone remembers; right about 1929 — the peak of the stock market — people started to worry about technological unemployment,” said Shiller, referencing Stuart Chase’s book “Men and Machines.”

“[Chase] said, ‘we are now in a turning point in history. We are entering the power age … and we’re going to be seeing massive unemployment.'” 

A Cause For Concern? 

The uncertainty surrounding job security and technology is unsubstantiated, Wood said. 

She pointed to a 2013 Oxford University paper that inaccurately concluded that 47% of American jobs would be axed by automation over the next decade.

Wood said she approached the study from a different perspective: productivity.

“We determined that by the year 2035, the United States would create $12 trillion more than it otherwise would have without automation. So, instead of being a $28-trillion economy, we’re going to be a $40-trillion economy.”

We begin with a very American debate that’s underway in Europe where a quickly-expanding Muslim population is testing tolerance on all sides. Nowhere is the discussion more heated than in Denmark. In three short decades, that small country has gone from almost no Muslims to hundreds of thousands — a bigger proportion of the population than other European nations. The resulting culture clash is raising issues of freedom of speech and religion. Our cover story is The Danish Debate.

Denmark is known for its love of bicycles free speech traditions and a Muslim population that now surpasses five percent.

Lonning-Skovgaard: We see a pattern where a lot of Muslim youngsters are required, unfortunately, to marry boys or girls from their home country. So we still see quite a huge number of the young people being flown in from Pakistan, Turkey and so on in order to, to marry Muslims living here.

In Copenhagen— as in many parts of Europe— tensions are growing with the expanding Muslim population bumping up against non-Muslim communities. It’s a dynamic that’s testing the limits of free speech and hate speech on both sides.

In a painful way, it’s interesting phenomena.  Sometimes infuriating.  Sometimes laughable.  Sometimes saddening.  Always dangerous.  Watching it unfold.  Watching freedom swirl around the drain while politicians, the media, and the ignorant cheer.  The legislative branch of our government could not be more broken or morally bankrupt than now.  Devoid of leadership.  Standing back and watching.  Waiting to jump ship and side up with whoever looks the winner.  Side up to whoever puts the plug back in the swamp’s drain.  Letting life in Babylon on the Potomac return to its normal back scratching existence.  As Thomas Pain described the beginnings of the American Revolution in The Crisis, December 23, 1776, “These are the times that try men’s souls.” – (bold emphasis added)

Washington’s swamp life, cheerleaders and strap hangers hate President Donald Trump.  It’s not a question.  It’s a declaration.  By extension, they also hate me.  Truthfully, they mostly hate me.  The forgotten American that put Mr. Trump in the Whitehouse.  A commoner hanging on for dear life to what remains of the middle rung of America’s backbone.  The middle class.  Decades of neglect thinned our ranks.  They’ve tried to turn us into a tribal culture of multiple identities then pit us against one another.  Or pit all of us against some non-existent straw dog.  One they can beat on daily keeping the unclean masses angry and in perpetual despair. It’s a dangerous game Washington plays.  Only then to ride in adorned in shining armor declaring in utopian fashion there is only one United States of America.

That didn’t work out so well now did it?  E Pluribis Unum is a quaint concept these days.  The more we declare we are one, the more they try to make us many.  Being a red, white, and blue loving American is offensive.  Getting on your knees, disrespect, hate.  That’s the new way.  Summer Soldiers and Sunshine Patriots.  Unable to see how blessed they were to be born American. The leaks of the details of the calls between President Donald Trump and the leaders of Mexico and Australia in 2017 were the products of intelligence gathering, House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told The Epoch Times in an exclusive interview.

Nunes said that sources confirmed to the House Intelligence Committee that the leaks of the calls between Trump and foreign leaders were based on intelligence products, prompting Nunes to investigate the matter.

“We knew right away in January that unmasking was occurring. Well, we knew the big one, the major one, was the Flynn transcript that was given out. And then you slowly had the Australian prime minister; you had the Mexican president, plus stories that we were seeing out in the mainstream news media. It was clear that somehow people were getting information from what appeared to be intelligence products,” Nunes said on Oct. 28.

“We had some sources that had come to us to tell us that this was happening. So finally, we were able to finally piece it together, and I was able to review it. And then once I saw what it was and it was much more than what I expected. And it had nothing to do with Russia.”
