Using the hashtag #PutObamaUnderOath, best-selling author and political pundit Ann Coulter tweeted that while knowing the truth about Barack Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice allegedly ordering surveillance of President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign aides, Obama should also testify before Congress on the matter.

UC Berkeley is becoming less known for the their academics and more infamous for their riots. 

The liberal college had to “cancel” yet another guest speaker because of safety concerns. The Berkeley College Republicans, BridgeCal and Young America’s Foundation were planning on having Ann Coulter address their groups, until they received an email from the university’s vice chancellors.

“We have been unable to find a safe and suitable venue for your planned April 27 event featuring Ann Coulter,” vice chancellors Scott Biddy and Stephen Sutton emailed the student groups. “In the wake of events surrounding the planned appearance by (right-wing speaker) Milo Yiannopoulos in February, as well as several riots which have occurred in recent weeks in the city of Berkeley, we have increased our scrutiny regarding the time and location of high-profile speakers so that these events can go forward unimpeded.”

The university also requested that if Coulter should decide to still come to the campus, that they not disclose the location until closer to the event and only students would be allowed to attend. She agreed to the conditions but told the university she had her own conditions, as described on YAF’s blog:

1) That the University of California chancellor request that the Oakland chief of police refrain from telling his men to stand down and ignore law-breaking by rioters attempting to shut down conservative speakers, as he has done in the past; and

2) That UC-Berkeley announce in advance that any students engaging in violence, mayhem or heckling to prevent an invited speaker from speaking would be expelled.

As Coulter explained, “If Berkeley wants to have free speech, it can have it.”

MY TAKE ON THE RECENT U.S. MISSILE STRIKE ON THE SYRIAN AIR BASE —-

MY BELIEF:

• The Sarin Nerve Gas attack on the Syrian city was an incredibly horrible ‘false flag’ operation carried out by ISIS to deliberately implicate Assad and cause his downfall.
• Trump (U.S.), Putin (Russia) and Assad (Syria) all want to ANNIHILATE ISIS.
• Trump doesn’t ‘like’ Putin’s ally, Assad, but is willing to maintain the status quo and will not attempt to make a regime change.
• Trump wisely doesn’t trust Putin but is willing to make a deal for their counties mutual benefit in destroying ISIS. (This is reminiscent of the U.S. and Russia successfully working together during WWII to defeat the Nazis)
• Likewise Putin doesn’t trust Trump but is willing to make a mutually beneficial deal.
• Saudi Arabia (Sunni Muslim ally of the U.S.) is a strong, clandestine supporter of ISIS (Sunni Muslim terrorist group).
• Saudi Arabia is an enemy of Syria (Shiite Muslim ally of Russia).

FACT:

• Putin was forewarned by Trump of the impending missile strike and it is assumed that this information was shared with Assad.
• Despite the fact that 59 U.S. missiles were reportedly fired at the Syrian air base, apparently only minimal to moderate damage to the base was incurred. The base runways were not destroyed and the base is still being used.

SPECULATION: Trump and Putin, working secretly through appropriate diplomatic channels. agreed on a mutually beneficial plan before the missile strike was set in motion. Only moderate, controlled missile damage would be inflicted by the U.S. on the Syrian air base. Assad would remain in power. Trump would put pressure on Saudi Arabia to cease supporting ISIS. Putin would continue using the Russian warm water port in Syria on the Mediterranean.

Trump and Putin would ‘conveniently’ remain outwardly antagonistic to one another for the benefit of the U.S. ‘Fake Stream Media’.

“The Art of the Deal” — Trump, Putin and Assad would work together as much as practical to ANNIHILATE ISIS for the benefit of everyone.

What if Trump’s missile salvo wasn’’t really about Syria?

More than a hundred years ago, President Theodore Roosevelt described his foreign policy as, “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” Which to him meant, “the exercise of intelligent forethought and of decisive action sufficiently far in advance of any likely crisis”.

Fast forward to President Trump. Few will characterize Trump as “speaking softly,” whether verbally or on Twitter, but after sending 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria last week, there is little doubt about him carrying “a big stick.” Going further, did this move demonstrate “forethought?” Was it “decisive action” ahead of and hopefully preventing “any likely crisis?”

What if the Syrian bombing was not really about Syria, but meant for a different audience?

The missile salvo was surgical and precise, bombing a few buildings at a Syrian air force base. The Russians were warned ahead of time to get their soldiers off the base. Very likely they tipped off the Syrians. Casualties were minimal, if at all, as the missiles destroyed Syrian planes, hangars and a fuel depot.

Some argue that this is a prelude to war, another Middle Eastern foreign entanglement which candidate Trump criticized and promised not to repeat. Others argue that the attack wasn’t enough. The runways weren’t destroyed, Assad is still in power. Trump instead took the Goldilocks approach, threading the needle between the “too much” and “not enough” camps, finding a happy medium.

What if this middle ground wasn’t really meant for Syria or Assad, but perhaps for China, Russia, Iran and North Korea? And perhaps the U.S. Fake Stream Media?

Foreign policy, like financial markets, prefers predictability to chaos or impulsiveness. What better way to throw a wrench into relations with these “axis of evil” countries than for Trump to do a 180-degree pivot from his campaign promises to stay out of Syria?

Foreign powers could safely assume that Trump would focus on his primary campaign promise of making America great again, directing his attention to repealing Obamacare, cutting taxes and regulation, renegotiating trade deals, and building a border wall. He made clear his intention to avoid costly foreign entanglements, specifically the ill-conceived and executed wars of by his two presidential predecessors.

A limited missile strike is hardly a war. No “boots on the ground.” The cost of the missiles, at a million dollars apiece, is less than what the Obamas are getting for their upcoming book deal. But the big stick is getting attention. International attention.

On the “legality” of Susan Rice’s actions

A media cover-up of a left-wing political scandal has two phases.

1. It never happened

2. Everyone does it

After spending a day in phase 1 on the Susan Rice unmasking story, we’re now in phase 2.

Phase 2 means the media emphasizing that Rice’s actions were within the scope of her authority. And that unmasking names isn’t illegal. And this is just the law.

Yes and no.

Abuses of power can involve actions that are legal in and of themselves. Buying stocks is legal. Buying stocks with insider information is a crime. Susan Rice unmasking the names of Trump associates is not illegal, though it’s about as unethical and tainted as anything can get. But if that information was then employed, passed along or leaked by anyone in the chain, it becomes a crime.

What we’re dealing with is a conspiracy in which those at the top minimize their exposure and those at the bottom have the most exposure. Rice was not (presumably) stupid enough to begin emailing anything to a reporter. But she was likely the tip of the spear in accessing that information. Information that she did not, despite the media’s claims, actually need to do her job.

Her only real use for the material was political. And anyone who understands how government works knows it.

A civil war has begun.

This civil war is very different than the last one. There are no cannons or cavalry charges. The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule. Political conflicts become civil wars when one side refuses to accept the existing authority. The left has rejected all forms of authority that it doesn’t control.

The left has rejected the outcome of the last two presidential elections won by Republicans. It has rejected the judicial authority of the Supreme Court when it decisions don’t accord with its agenda. It rejects the legislative authority of Congress when it is not dominated by the left.

It rejected the Constitution so long ago that it hardly bears mentioning.

It was for total unilateral executive authority under Obama. And now it’s for states unilaterally deciding what laws they will follow. (As long as that involves defying immigration laws under Trump, not following them under Obama.) It was for the sacrosanct authority of the Senate when it held the majority. Then it decried the Senate as an outmoded institution when the Republicans took it over.

It was for Obama defying the orders of Federal judges, no matter how well grounded in existing law, and it is for Federal judges overriding any order by Trump on any grounds whatsoever. It was for Obama penalizing whistleblowers, but now undermining the government from within has become “patriotic”.

There is no form of legal authority that the left accepts as a permanent institution. It only utilizes forms of authority selectively when it controls them. But when government officials refuse the orders of the duly elected government because their allegiance is to an ideology whose agenda is in conflict with the President and Congress, that’s not activism, protest, politics or civil disobedience; it’s treason. – (bold emphasis added in above paragraphs)

Likewise, Obama may not have PERSONALLY ordered the illegal electronic surveillance of senior private individuals associated with Trump, and perhaps even Trump himself.  However, if Obama WAS personally involved (which I suspect to be the case) this is a VERY SERIOUS CRIME attributable to him.

WE NOW KNOW THAT ATTORNEY SUSAN RICE, FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR UNDER OBAMA, WAS DIRECTLY INVOLVED:

Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”

Other knowledgeable official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.
