Does this widely used photo of caravan at Mexico border show child trafficking in action?

Some odd/suspicious details:

“Mother” wearing Elsa t-shirt (several sizes too small) – signal to potential customers?

“Mother” bears no physical resemblance to children

“Mother’s” rough grip of child’s wrist in both photos – distinctly unmaternal (although what kind of mother drags her young children 2000 miles across Central America)

Child aged at least 4 or 5 wearing diapers

Child’s fingers stuck in wiffle ball – some form of punishment?

“Mother” wearing orange wristband (but not children)

“Nature gave man two ends – one to sit on and one to think with. Ever since then, man’s success or failure has been dependent on the one he used most.” George R. Kirkpatrick (1867-1937) Lecturer

Following the long over-due exit of Jeff Sessions, what do we see? Herds of useful fools egged on by the prostitute media who serve the Democrat/Communist Party USA gathered to chant: Protect Mueller!

Oh, for God’s sake, can these people be any more stupid from one day to the next?

Confront Corruption Hosted by Pantsuit Nation (A good belly laugh that one):

“Join us for a candlelit vigil at the White House to confront corruption and demand democracy. Be part of a national movement to highlight the importance of protecting the Mueller investigation and to ensure that potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, obstruction of justice, and myriad financial crimes get fully investigated without interference.”

The same ‘talking points’ are being used by 20 different “news” outlets including cable networks along with socialist mouth pieces in the U.S. Congress:

On Thanksgiving, I’m Thankful for Trump

Finally, a president who isn’t a turkey.

FrontPage Mag
by Bruce Bawer
11/22/2018

Excerpt:

On this Thanksgiving Day, I am thankful that America has a president, and the Free World a leader, who is the most admirable figure to hold this position in my lifetime.

I’ve been of voting age in eleven presidential elections. I voted in most but not all of them. Usually both choices were uninspiring. Whom to pick, a dimbulb D.C. drudge (Ford) or a smarmy phony (Carter)? A charmless technocrat (Dukakis) or an establishment empty suit (Bush senior)? In 1992 I bought Slick Willie’s act; the disillusion set in almost immediately after his inauguration. Bush junior and Obama were the two worst presidents since Wilson, but the men who ran against them weren’t world-beaters either. Even the one great president of my lifetime prior to 2016, Ronald Reagan, fell way short of carrying out the sweeping small-government reforms he’d pledged.

Eventually I learned not to get very worked up about any presidential election. I’d heard all the platitudes, taken in all the same promises every four years and seen them all broken repeatedly. One year C-SPAN ran a marathon of GOP and Democratic convention speeches from the previous few decades, and it was stunning to hear all those blowhards expressing exactly the same noble sentiments and making the same solemn vows as their colleagues had articulated four and eight and twelve years earlier. None of it meant bupkis. None of it ever eventuated in any meaningful change. In 2008, when millions of young people were raised to heights of ecstasy by Obama’s soaring but vague campaign rhetoric, the spectacle of their naive fervor made me feel old and cynical.

Trump’s new plan would force asylum seekers to remain in Mexico as cases are processed

‘If you are not determined to have a reasonable fear of remaining in Mexico, you will remain in Mexico’

National Post
Washington Post, by Nick Miroff, Joshua Partlow and Josh Dawsey
11/22/2018

Excerpt:

Among the thousands of Central American migrants traveling by caravan across Mexico, many hope to apply for asylum due to threats of gang violence or other persecution in their home countries. They had expected to be able to stay in the United States while their claims move through immigration court. The new rules would disrupt those plans, and the hopes of other Central Americans who seek asylum in the United States each year.

Trump remains furious about the caravan and the legal setbacks his administration has suffered in federal court, demanding hard line policy ideas from aides. Senior adviser Stephen Miller has pushed to implement the Remain in Mexico plan immediately, though other senior officials have expressed concern about implementing amid sensitive negotiations with the Mexican government, according to two DHS officials and a White House adviser with knowledge of the plan, which was discussed at the White House on Tuesday, people familiar with the matter said.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to the administration’s new plan, if a migrant does not specifically fear persecution in Mexico, that’s where they will stay. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is sending teams of asylum officers from field offices in San Francisco, Washington, and Los Angeles to the ports of entry in the San Diego area to implement the new screening procedures, according to a USCIS official.

The sell-off can’t end until these 10 problems are fixed, Jim Cramer argues

  • CNBC’s Jim Cramer pinpoints the 10 drivers of the stock market’s sell-off.
  • The “Mad Money” host explains what it’ll take for stocks to recover.
  • The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 500 points on Monday.

Ten things need to change for the stock market to come back from its Monday declines, CNBC’s Jim Cramer said as high-profile technology stocks Facebook and Apple led the major averages lower.

“When does this rout end? When do the buyers come in? When do the sellers finish?” he wondered aloud on “Mad Money.” “Frankly, we don’t know, and that uncertainty is what allows this roving bear market to keep tearing us to pieces.”

Here are the various reasons that stocks are falling and what it would take for them to turn, according to Cramer:

Democrat Losers: Undignified and Dangerous

============================================

The American Spectator
by David Catron
11/19/2018

Excerpt:

What do Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams, and Bill Nelson have in common? Each asked the voters for important positions of leadership and promptly proved themselves unworthy of those offices when the answer was “No.” It isn’t necessary, of course, to revisit Gore’s reluctant acceptance of reality or Clinton’s querulous hypocrisy. The tawdry details of those episodes are well known. But the long-term harm they wrought on the republic merits consideration. The extent of that damage was clearly demonstrated Friday, when Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams finally admitted that the laws of mathematics could not be overcome by frivolous lawsuits.

The Friday non-concession speech Abrams inflicted on the citizens of Georgia was easily one of the most disgraceful political performances of the century thus far. She grudgingly acknowledged that Brian Kemp will be the Peach State’s next governor, but went on to accuse him — without evidence — of voter suppression during his tenure as secretary of state. Even worse, her bitter diatribe included a promise to file additional lawsuits in order to “pursue accountability in Georgia’s elections and integrity in the process of maintaining our voting rolls.” Abrams pledged to fight mythical “mismanagement of this election and to protect future elections from unconstitutional actions.”

None of these charges have any basis in fact. In reality, the worst “crime” she accused Kemp of committing — the removal of dormant registrations from the voter rolls — has already been ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court. The real problem is no more complicated than the inability of Abrams to garner enough votes to win the election. It was obvious that the Democrat’s bid was a lost cause on Election Day. Kemp’s lead was, as Mark Steyn phrases it, “beyond the margin of lawyer.” But Abrams was still in denial when asked by a Sunday morning talking head, “Is he the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?” Her response was utterly irresponsible. The Daily Caller reports:

The law, as it stands, says that he received an adequate number of votes to become the governor of Georgia. And I acknowledge the law as it stands. I am a lawyer by training and I have taken the constitutional oath to uphold the law.… What you are looking for me to say is that there was no compromise of our democracy and there should be some political compromise in the language I use and that’s not right. What’s not right is saying that something was done properly when it was not.

How Misguided Environmentalism Is To Blame For California’s Wildfires

The saddest part about these fires in California is that they are self inflicted. Californians should not allow such mismanagement to continue.

The Federalist
by Kristina Skurk
11/16/2018

Excerpts:

I grew up in California’s Ventura County and have family in both southern and northern California. Right now, the most deadly fire in California’s history is racing across northern California. The Camp Fire has already killed at least 56 people, burned down 7,700 homes, and destroyed the entire town of Paradise. A brush fire is also wreaking havoc on southern California. The Woolsey Fire has destroyed 98,362 acres, killed two people, and damaged several Hollywood landmarks such as the set of “MASH” and the Reagan Ranch.

Article after article blames two things for California’s frequent fires: global warming and human action. For example, a BuzzFeed article is titled, “How A Booming Population And Climate Change Made California’s Wildfires Worse Than Ever.” While dry conditions make fires more likely and people often start them, this misses the big picture. President Trump summed it up on Nov 10. He wrote, “There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor … Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”

When trees are too close together, they fight for resources. Many of the trees are weakened and become more susceptible to disease and insect infestation. These conditions turn entire forests into tinder boxes. A 2017 report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) states that 129 million trees have died in California’s forests since 2010. The USDA report agrees with Trump — California’s forests suffer from neglect and mismanagement.

…………………………………………………

To prevent fires, both the California’s state government and the federal government need to deregulate logging and encourage the Forest Service to make a profit by selling timber. Until the environmental protests of the 1970s, the Forest Service was one of the only departments in the federal government making a profit. It is a myth that environmental concerns and business interests are always at odds. In the case of California’s forests, thinning the trees is in the interests of both parties. Trump understands this, and his administration is expanding timber sales on federal land.

Ironically, these ill-conceived environmental policies designed to ward off climate change have been the source of massive amounts of carbon dioxide pollution. A forest fire’s initial blaze releases 5.2. million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions, according to Forest Service ecologist Leland Tarnay. This is equivalent to the amount of emissions from 1.1 million passenger cars in a year.
