   President Obama is planning an aggressive, in-your-face, blitzkrieg-style campaign against Americans’ fundamental Second Amendment right to self-defense.

   After a madman murdered 26 people including 20 young schoolchildren last month at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, Obama initially urged a reinstatement of the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban. The demonstrably useless law lapsed in 2004 and had no detectable impact on crime. It was designed to cater to big-city liberals and their irrational fear of firearms.

   But the Obama administration’s plans to assault the Bill of Rights grew more ambitious over the Christmas holidays. The administration has now had an opportunity to brainstorm more extensively with the left-wing gun-grabbing lobby, which is heavily financed by radical financier George Soros.

   The president is hoping to use the bloody Newtown massacre to impose sweeping new restrictions on firearms and to create a massive new database to track and spy on law-abiding gun owners. Americans are wise to be wary of such proposals. Governments the world over have used such databases time and time again to crack down on internal dissent, lay the groundwork for gun confiscation, and clear the way for genocidal slaughter.

   Citing multiple sources “involved in the administration’s discussions,” the Washington Post reports that the Obama White House is now “weighing a far broader and more comprehensive approach to curbing the nation’s gun violence than simply reinstating an expired ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition.”

   According to the newspaper:

   —- “A working group led by Vice President [Joe] Biden is seriously considering measures backed by key law enforcement leaders that would require universal background checks for firearm buyers, track the movement and sale of weapons through a national database, strengthen mental health checks, and stiffen penalties for carrying guns near schools or giving them to minors…” —

   Vice President Biden “guaranteed” Boston Mayor Thomas Menino that President Obama would push through sweeping firearms restrictions before February.

   “He said, ‘Tommy, I guarantee you, we’ll get it done by the end of January,’” Menino said, according to the Boston Herald. “They’re going to get it done.”

   Obama may intend to bribe and blackmail businesses in order to win their support for his assault on law-abiding gun owners, the Post article suggests.

   “[T]he White House is developing strategies to work around the National Rifle Association that one source said could include rallying support from Wal-Mart and other gun retailers for measures that would benefit their businesses,” the article stated.

   The Obama White House is coordinating its strategy with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an outspoken enemy of the Second Amendment. Bloomberg co-founded Mayors Against Illegal Guns with Boston’s Menino.

   Biden’s working group is reportedly gearing up to present a package of recommendations to the president soon. After that the Community Organizer-in-Chief intends to head up a public-relations campaign to further inflame the public before the passions generated by the Newtown murders cool.

   “They are very clearly committed to looking at this issue comprehensively,” said Dan Gross, president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, which is participating in Biden’s group.

   Despite ceaseless cheerleading by their allies in the mainstream media, leftists probably won’t be able to shoot holes in the Second Amendment easily.

   Lawmakers from both parties are opposed to further crackdowns on the ownership of guns, which author David B. Kopel notes are already “the most severely regulated consumer product in the United States — the only product for which FBI permission is required for every single sale.”

   Newly sworn-in Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said gun control proposals now being discussed –including a plan by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) to create a national gun registry– are unconstitutional. The federal government doesn’t have “any business having a list of law-abiding citizens” who choose to exercise their right to keep and bear arms, he said.

   After Newtown “within minutes, we saw politicians run out and try to exploit this tragedy, try to push their political agenda of gun control,” Cruz told “Fox News Sunday.”

   What happened in Newtown is “a tragedy, but it’s not a tragedy that should be answered by restricting the constitutional rights of all Americans.”

   Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) also cautioned against taking aim at gun owners’ rights.

   “I think you need to put everything on the table, but what I hear from the administration — and if the Washington Post is to be believed — that’s way, way in extreme of what I think is necessary or even should be talked about. And it’s not going to pass,” the new freshman senator said on a Sunday TV talk show.

   Heitkamp said mental health-related proposals have to be part of any package aimed at reducing violent crime.

   “Let’s start addressing the problem. And to me, one of the issues that I think comes — screams out of this is the issue of mental health and the care for the mentally ill in our country, especially the dangerously mentally ill. And so we need to have a broad discussion before we start talking about gun control,” she said.

   Jones was supposed to appear in a third segment on the show to debate lawyer Alan Dershowitz, but CNN managers and Morgan himself were so outraged at his refusal to play ball that they changed the format of the whole program on a whim.

   Jones said he also confronted Dershowitz on his support for creating warrants that would allow police and security services to torture suspects, adding that Dershowitz was not interested in debating Jones.

   The general tone of the recent interview of Alex Jones by Piers Morgan on CNN brought back memories of the 4/27/2011 shameful interview* of Attorney Orly Taitz by Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC, EXCEPT IN REVERSE!

   This time ‘the patriot’s side’ was in total control, and it gave me great pleasure to savor the rare treat! Good job, Alex!

   Being discussed was the critically important topic of ‘Gun Control’ (followed of course with forced gun confiscation) which has now been conveniently and predictably pushed by the Obama regime into national prominence following the recent tragic mass shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

   As I saw it, Alex repeatedly tried to keep the discussion on a broad, overview level but Piers very obnoxiously kept trying to limit it to ‘gotcha’ jabs at Alex with insignificant ‘factoids’.

   Gun ownership, which is a Constitutional 2nd Amendment right, IS OUR ABSOLUTE LAST LINE OF DEFENSE! The great majority of American gun owners WILL NOT surrender their primary and only effective means of self-defense for themselves and their loved-ones. Alex was trying to make this clear to Piers and the viewing audience but Piers, in his usual condescending manner, tried to shift attention away from what really needed to be discussed.

   I certainly do not agree with Alex on many things he professes but I do agree with him on his stand opposing additional ‘gun control’. I also agree with the passion that he brought to the interview, although I know the MSM will attempt to ridicule him for this and call him a ‘mad man’ and a ‘conspiracy nut’.

   I think if Obama unwisely proceeds with his plan to confiscate the guns from the American People, it will INITIATE A VERY SERIOUS CONFLICT in the U.S.A. Tragically, I suspect Obama would not be unhappy with this result, and may even be planning to encourage it. – Very sad indeed!

   Regarding Alex’s comments related to ‘political conspiracy’, I refer readers to the following two books, available on Amazon.com, for an introduction to a very complex topic:

   (1) ‘The Shadows of Power: The Council on Foreign Relations and the American Decline’, by James Perloff

   (2) ‘The Unseen Hand: An Introduction to the Conspiratorial View of History’, by A. Ralph Epperson

   However, now thanks to Lucas Daniel Smith and the Establishment’s OBVIOUS treatment of the entire ‘Obama POTUS Eligibility’ and ‘Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate’ matters, it is not really necessary to study ‘conspiracy theory’ to KNOW that there are VERY POWERFUL AND INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE AND GROUPS THAT ARE ATTEMPTING TO CONTROL VIRTUALLY ALL MATTERS OF IMPORTANCE.

   However, THEY are not infallible, and IMO they made a BIG MISTAKE by promoting ‘Obama the puppet’ into his current position of power and influence. The PUBLIC EXPOSURE of ‘OBAMA THE FRAUD’ will hopefully set the Establishment back on it’s plans for at least a generation.

   “The president is going to act,” said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”

   Biden said that this is a moral issue and that “it’s critically important that we act.”

   Biden talked also about taking responsible action. “As the president said, if you’re actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking. But I’m convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way if we act responsibly.”

   Biden, as he himself noted, helped write the Brady bill.

   Eric Holder was scheduled to be at the meeting that’s currently take place at the White House.

   Alex Jones is a conspiratorial piece of garbage. He tried to incite a riot against Michelle Malkin by chanting ‘Kill Michelle Malkin’ (there is a YouTube video of it). He is a deranged lunatic.

   It doesn’t surprise me that he was invited on to represent the ‘pro-gun’ argument. He is a nut job conspiracy theorist. Piers Morgan and staff definitely wanted him to represent the ‘pro-gun’ viewpoint so they could portray it as irrational and outside the norm (rather than a Right specifically guaranteed by the Founding Fathers).

   Alex Jones did a good job in this interview, though. Yes, he threw out some conspiratorial ‘globalist’ accusations but he reduced Piers Morgan to a bumbling Brit twit who could only resort to his preselected incidents of gun violence and inquire about what gun was used for that particular tragedy. Jones wouldn’t walk into the trap. LOVED that Jones threw the drug angle out there and Big Pharma being a CNN sponsor and all.

   Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitors are the issue we need to discuss. Lanza, Holmes, Loughner were all SSRI users – all prescribed by the liberal system that encourages a prescription rather than a spanking or scolding (personal responsibility).

   In the end I just don’t want to be left defending the Alex Jones’ of the world. While I think his ‘globalist’ accusations have some merit and I enjoy pondering alternative theories/conspiracies myself – Jones embraces EVERY conspiracy theory with fervor. He is selling conspiracy theories. He is not the gun rights spokesperson and he should not be. I am glad he is on this side of the debate – but he needs to be muzzled. The pro-gun crowd should not rush to Alex Jones for their saviour.

   DHS Source Confirms Alex Was Being Stalked

   Both before and after the appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight Monday, Alex and Infowars video producer Rob Dew knew they were being followed and that people seemed to be casing them around New York City.

   In addition to being intimidated in New York, Alex was also the target of thinly-veiled death threats on the Piers Morgan program the night following his appearance.

   In a segment on the show, sports columnist for the Daily Beast, Buzz Bissinger, shockingly stated:

   “I don’t care what the justification is that you’re allowed in this country to own a semi-automatic weapon – much less a handgun. But what do you need a semi-automatic weapon for? The only reason I think you’d need it is, Piers, challenge Alex Jones to a boxing match, show up with a semi-automatic that you got legally and pop him.”

   Morgan’s guests laughed at the thought of Jones’ murder. Guest Abby Huntsman, a host and producer at HuffPost Live, said, “I’d love to see that…in uniform,” to which Morgan said, “I’ll borrow my brother’s uniform.”

   After Doug Hagmann, of the Northeast Intelligence Network, learned that Jones was appearing on the CNN program, he contacted his DHS insider source who told him that federal agents were indeed “assigned to follow Alex Jones during his visit to New York.”

   Those were the instructions reportedly given to federal agents who were assigned to follow Alex Jones during his visit to New York, according to a DHS source with information about the surveillance operation. “It was done to intimidate, no question,” stated this DHS source. “I don’t know how many [agents] were assigned to him and another fellow traveling with him, but I know that there was co-ordination between federal agencies and a private security concern. I’ve learned that the assignment originated from pretty high up and was approved at multiple levels. This was supposed to be ‘off the books,’ no records and there was to be complete denial if confronted,” stated this source. He added that he was unsure if any of the surveillance operatives were working for the city of New York, but stated that “it wouldn’t surprise me. There’s a pretty close relationship at that level between agencies.”

   After being alerted to his appearance with Piers Morgan, I contacted my “DHS insider” for his comments and overall assessment. I was neither surprised nor shocked at what I learned. According to my source, Mr. Jones’ itinerary was known in advance and surveillance was established accordingly. The surveillance operatives were working in three-man teams, with as many as nine operatives assigned [to him] at any given time. Video surveillance was involved, and there were instructions to secure any video that could be used to marginalize or embarrass him, with the specific intent to assail his credibility as well as to harass him. It’s my understanding that they were also trying to bait him,” stated this source.

   It’s important to be clear that I have not spoken to Mr. Jones or anyone who accompanied him to New York since our last interview. That said, I was instructed to ask Mr. Jones about an incident that either happened or was supposed to happen – an attempt at a physical confrontation in front of (or near) a Starbucks near the studio. “According to the information I have, it was supposed to be a stated incident that might have involved a woman that would result in some type of physical confrontation. I am unaware whether the situation was ultimately set up or attempted, but it’s purpose was designed to secure video of Mr. Jones [possibly pushing a woman],” stated this source. “He is thought to have a violent temper and could be ‘baited,’” he added.

   “Things are not always as they appear,” added my source. Indeed.

   Information previously shared with the viewers and listeners of InfoWars is indeed proving accurate. The experiences of Mr. Jones during his visit to New York for his appearance on CNN were foretold by the DHS “insider” who stated that Alex Jones and people who visibly and vocally support the U.S. Constitution will be the targets of marginalization – or worse.     WASHINGTON – Officials with the conservative group Americans for Legal Immigration are challenging CNN to take Piers Morgan off the air after a controversial debate on gun control with InfoWars.com’s Alex Jones.

    Jones has been just one of those Morgan has brought on the air over gun control in recent days.

    Following the debate with Jones, which sparked a media firestorm, Morgan featured a panel on his program including Daily Beast sports columnist Buzz Bissinger, and commentator Abby Huntsman, daughter of presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, in which Buzz joked about how someone should “pop” Jones with an “assault rifle.”

    To which Abby Huntsman laughingly responded, “I’d love to see that, in uniform!”

    “Monitoring the media is something I have done professionally for two decades now, and in that entire time I have never seen anything as outrageous as the Piers Morgan segment joking about killing one of their guests with an ‘assault rifle’,” Gheen told WND.

    Morgan and Jones engaged in a heated debate over Americans’ rights to be armed, despite Morgan being British. The ever-controversial Jones discussed a New World Order and mentioned his fear of political assassination. Morgan’s decision to feature Jones as the face of the right wing gun control position outraged many conservatives including Glenn Beck and Erick Erickson who feared he would delegitimize their case.

    The gun control debate has been put back on the forefront of American politics following the Aurora, Colo., theater shooting and Newtown, Conn., school tragedy.

    Those representing Second Amendment advocacy including Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association, and current NRA President David Keene, have received death threats – ironically involving guns – over social media.

    ALIPAC also has launched a social media effort that has gained them 65,000 Facebook followers and has clogged up lines at CNN calling for Morgan to be taken off air.

    “Please call CNN to demand that Piers Morgan be fired for advocating political murder with assault rifles on last night’s show. Free speech is one thing, but we cannot allow the liberal media to take things this far against those that oppose amnesty or support gun rights etc.. Call 404.827.1500 and wait for a human operator,” Gheen encouraged.

    One thing we have never heard on his week-long ratings-seeking descent into Jerry Springer land is any sane, reasonable, calm and credible figure who can marshal facts and arguments against gun control. Don’t get me wrong. I cannot fathom why assault weapons are somehow integral to either hunting or resistance to an Obama-led coup. Instead we got a rolling freak-show designed entirely for ratings, since Morgan has never actually practised anything but gutter tabloid journalism and once sent an email to a policeman aggrieved by Morgan’s disgusting contempt for the privacy and dignity of anyone in public life: “fame and crime sends most of the usual rules out of the window.” Hence the phone hacking which forced the closure of the newspaper, The News Of The World, he once edited, and his being fired from the second tabloid he edited for publishing fake photographs of supposed prisoner abuse by British soldiers.

Because Hislop offended Morgan on a TV show, Morgan put the Mirror on a six-month crusade to try and find every conceivably embarrassing detail of Hislop’s private life, and had photographers camped outside his house:

    Atlanta – A student opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer working at the school was able to get the gun away, police said.

    Multiple shots were fired in the courtyard of Price Middle School just south of downtown around 1:50 p.m. and the one boy was hit, Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said. In the aftermath, a teacher received minor cuts, he said.

    The wounded boy was taken “alert, conscious and breathing” to Grady Memorial Hospital, said police spokesman Carlos Campos. He was expected to be released Thursday night.

    Police swarmed the school of about 400 students after reports of the shooting while a crowd of anxious parents gathered in the streets, awaiting word on their children. Students were kept at the locked-down school for more than two hours before being dismissed.

    Investigators believe the shooting was not random and that something occurred between the two students that may have led to it.

    Schools Superintendent Erroll Davis said the school does have metal detectors.

    “The obvious question is how did this get past a metal detector?” Davis asked about the gun. “That’s something we do not know yet.”

    The armed resource officer who took the gun away was off-duty and at the school, but police didn’t release details on him or whether he is regularly at Price. Since 20 children and six adults were shot to death at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut in December, calls for armed officers in every school have resonated across the country.

    Needless to say, the guard did his job and despite lax security that allowed a gun on to school grounds, performed heroically.

    Atlanta’s mayor, Kasim Reed, didn’t mention the heroics of the guard:

    “Gun violence in and around our schools is simply unconscionable and must end,” Reed said. “Too many young people are being harmed, and too many families are suffering from unimaginable and unnecessary grief.”

    The guard will be disappeared from the story because his actions don’t fit the narrative. It will be forgotten how many lives he may have saved, and how his presence proved the efficacy of hiring armed security for our schools. – (bold emphasis added)

    The Newtown Board of Education wants more armed police officers in the town’s four elementary schools after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary.

    Last night, they decided to ask the town to approve the request to include one additional full-time Newtown police at each of the elementary schools in next year’s budget.

    Members of the board will meet today with state and federal officials about obtaining additional funding for security.

    “Our parents are demanding of us that things are made safe and secure and certain measures are put in place,” Chairwoman Debbie Leidlein said. “So we’re being very thoughtful.”

    Several police officers have been stationed at all Newtown schools since the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, where 20 children and six staff members were killed.

    Those officers will remain at the school through the remainder of the school year, but the budget for the next fiscal year funds only resource officers at middle and high schools.

    Parents said security means more than a police presence.

    “My main concern is with accessibility to these school, said Neil Johnson, a parent of two Newtown students. “On December 14th, that was the main bare-boned reason that occurred.”

    I think this was a black powder blank load as modern SMOKELESS powder does (not) emit this volume of smoke. I think they meant to release the vid but realized the lack of recoil would give away (no projectile/no equal and opposite reaction). Go to local skeet range and observe the lack of smoke in modern loads; black pwoder is still used in blank loads because of reliable ignition with lower chamber pressure. This photo was a publicity shot.

    Why are Americans attracted to guns? Is there a uniquely dark side to the American character and American history? Is there a minority obsessed with destructive technology? Or is there a strange discontentment among those who, as the president put it while campaigning in 2008, “get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations”?

    Tradition, technology and culture explain some but not all of the American attraction to guns. Another aspect, largely unremarked upon, is trust, or rather the pervasive erosion of trust in American society. Economic failure, social polarization, racial and ethnic fragmentation, and mendacity and malfeasance at all levels have brought about a lack of trust perhaps unique in American history. One result is arming in self-defense.

    There is a palpable and well-deserved loss of trust in official institutions. The Department of Justice runs guns into Mexico for unknown reasons, loses track of them, people die on both sides of the border, and the attorney general lies to Congress about the affair. The secretary of the Treasury fails to pay his taxes but suffers no sanction.

    Public policy is conducted in the tone of moral panic. “Wars” are declared on cancer, drugs, and terror; victory or defeat are never declared but billions continue to be spent, while critics are derided. Social engineering and its supporting cult of experts create a never-ending cascade of solutions to real and imaginary problems, which ripple across the landscape. From school-busing schemes that failed to resolve racial segregation to Section 8 housing vouchers that raised suburban crime, from mayoral regulation of Big Gulps, fat, and salt, problems are never solved, only displaced at vast cost. Failure destroys trust.

    Science is not immune. Global warming is touted as the greatest threat to humankind only decades after global cooling was similarly hyped. It is only necessary to read headlines to see the blatant substitution of values for facts by media outlets, and their continual denigration and abuse of other viewpoints as primitive and evil. Meanwhile, decades of determined, caustic attacks on America’s Founders, Constitution, and history have successfully eroded a shared sense of history and citizenship, leaving only competition and mutual vilification. Civic duty and patriotism are defined solely as paying ever-higher taxes.

    Trust in one another is eroded by things as simple as parking illegally in a handicapped spot or as desperately mundane as an SAT cheating ring. The routine grifting of union and corporate leaders, the hypocritical grandstanding about violence from Hollywood stars whose movies are never-ending gun battles, and the banality of dependence, entitlement, and violence that are so commonplace erode trust.

    Barack Obama ALLEGEDLY skeet shooting on August 4, 2012 at Camp David

    

    The gun shown appears to be a Browning Citori. Smoke is visible coming from the barrel tip and the right-side exhaust ports. The left-side ports may have been sealed for normal use of the gun by a right-handed shooter (Obama is a left-handed shooter) or maybe are just ‘gummed up’ and in need of cleaning.

    Obama is standing erect and even appears to be inclined backwards a little. Sheet shooters normally assume a slightly ‘forward crouch’ stance in anticipation of absorbing the gun recoil.

    The ‘Obama/gun’ image was likely Photoshopped onto a ‘summer season’ landscape background to give the impression that the photo was actually taken on August 4, 2012 rather than in late January 2013.

    There is an unusually large quantity of smoke shown in the photo and it has a strange, narrow, almost rifle-like plume shape as it emanates from the barrel tip. This, plus the obvious lack of a normal shotgun recoil, indicates that Obama was very likely shooting ‘blank’ shells containing ‘black powder’, or similar propellant, rather than ‘real’ shells containing modern ‘smokeless’ powder and lead shot.

    In other words, the claimed ‘skeet shooting’ photo is in all probability, like Obama himself, a TOTAL FRAUD!

    Armed citizens force officials to back down

    A group of 160 citizens, many if not most of whom were armed, confronted government officials Tuesday who had attempted to have a wounded Army veteran kicked out of a meeting due to the fact that he carried a gun. The veteran has a state license for concealed carry, which means that he was carrying the gun to the meeting within the boundaries of the law.

    The story of the incident, which occurred at a city council meeting in Oak Harbor, Wash., made national news three weeks ago.

    But Tuesday evening the citizens of Oak Harbor, Wash. showed up to confront its city council and demand that the council rescind a local ordinance prohibiting guns from being carried on public property. The citizens also wished to show their support for Lucas Yonkman, the Army veteran who showed up at the previous meeting armed.

    One citizen told the council that if the fact that citizens who are merely exercising their right to keep and bear arms intimidates city officials, then they need to look within to determine why the rights of the people are so intimidating to them.

    Another citizen addressed the council and stated that his mother was a Jew and that his parents had died in Hitler’s gas chambers. “I will not go into the night quietly while these two ask me to board the train,” he said.

    The man was carrying an M-1 rifle on his shoulder.

    Lucas Yonkman, the wounded Army veteran whom the council wished to kick out of the previous meeting, also addressed the gathering:

    “I come to you tonight with a heavy heart,” Yonkman said. “I see a beautiful country divided and conflicted. I see a constitution being eroded, and the rights so many have fought and died for totally lost. I see men and woman who are elected leaders pushing personal agendas.”

    Apparently the display of force by the citizens and the passion with which they spoke of their Constitutional rights paid off. The council voted to remove the ban on guns in public parks and other public areas.
