new book (Marco Rubio biography) – ‘The Rise of Marco Rubio’ by Washington Post reporter Manuel Roig-Franzia.

Marco Rubio ineligibleThank the gods, if there are any, that this US Senator (R-FL ), who is ostensibly ineligible for POTUS, isn’t running for President (2012).

It appears that he was born in Miami, Florida on May 28, 1971 but his parents were born in Cuba.

His parents, Mario Rubio and Oria Garcia, emigrated to the USA in 1956 but were not naturalized as US citizens until some point in 1975.

Rubio was also a member of the Florida House of Representatives (111th District) from 2000 thru 2009.

You can buy the book The Rise of Marco Rubio (2012), by Manuel Roig-Franzia at Amazon.

Three years later now it appears that Rubio (ineligible?) might open a presidential campaign for 2016.

I’ve now added Marco Rubio to The ineligible list (?).
