Man Beheads Coworker in Oklahoma; FBI Probes Recent Attempts to Convert Others to Islam

A man beheaded a female coworker and stabbed another during an altercation at their workplace, a food distribution facility near Oklahoma City.

The man, Alton Nolen, was eventually stopped after he was shot by an off-duty reserve officer working for Vaughan Foods, Inc.

According to a press release from the City of Moore, the assailant, Alton Nolen, had recently been fired from his job and, in a fit of rage, drove his car into the building and attacked one of his female coworkers with a knife, severing her head in the process. Nolen then attacked a second female coworker before being shot by the company’s COO, who was also a reserve officer. The release noted that Nolen and his second victim were both hospitalized and were currently in stable condition.

Nolan has a history with the law, reported NewsOK: In 2011, he was convicted of “multiple felony drug offenses, assault and battery on a police officer and escape from detention.” The police also noted that Nolen had recently converted to Islam, and had been attempting to convert his coworkers as well, and notified the FBI.

Oklahoma Beheader Linked to Al Qaeda Leader Awlaki, Boston Bomber's Mosque

Suhaib Webb, an Imam with ties to former Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki, had also previously been the leader of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, which had been attended by Alton Nolen -- the man who on Thursday beheaded a former coworker after recently converting to Islam, Breitbart News has learned. Webb now serves as Imam of the sister organization of the mosque attended by Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Imam Suhaib Webb has a history of ties to radicalism. FBI surveillance documents found that he was a known confidant of Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki. Just two days before the September 11, 2001 attacks on America, Webb spoke at a fundraiser with Awlaki with hopes to raise funds for Atlanta-based H. Rap Brown, a man that shot and killed two police officers. The FBI documents also found that “Webb and Awlaki may be associated with the Muslim American Society,” which is a group described by the Investigative Project on Terrorism as being “founded as the United States Chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Nolen took a picture of himself (above) September 5th, just three weeks before he brutally murdered an innocent woman, standing in front of the gates of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City.

The caption read: “At The Masjid (Mosque)Today For Jumar 9/5/2014 & Peforming Wudu!!!”

Imam Webb’s bio from his new place of employment, the Islamic Society of Boston, states:

While pursuing his bachelors degree Imam Webb studied privately with a renowned Muslim Scholar of Senegalese descent. After intense private training in various Islamic sciences, Imam Webb was hired as the Imam at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, where he not only provided Khutbas (Sermons) and religious classes but also counseled families and young people.

The Islamic Society of Boston, which was attended by the Tsarnaev brothers during his tenure as Imam, has several within their ranks who have been charged with committing acts of Islamic Radicalism. The founder of the Mosque, Abdulrahman Alamoudi, was sentenced to 23 years in prison for his role for financing terror.

After the Boston Marathon bombings, Webb had initially been invited to an interfaith memorial at the Holy Cross Cathedral, where president Obama was scheduled to speak. Imam Webb's invitation was then rescinded under mysterious circumstances at the last minute, according to reports.

Writing in the Jewish Advocate last year, columnist Charles Jacobs described Imam Webb as someone who “teaches vicious hatred and calls for young Muslims to engage in Jihad against non-Muslims in order to establish a global Islamic state.”

BREAKING: Beheading Suspect Fired After Argument Over Stoning Women

Hometown paper reveals details about suspect in the Oklahoma murder.

On Friday morning, police in Moore, Oklahoma released the identity of the suspect in the brutal beheading of a woman at her workplace: Alton Nolen, who now goes by Jah'Keem Yisrael. Nolen is a convert to Islam, and local press reports that he had attempted to convert other employees at Vaughan Foods, where the murder took place.

Yisrael is a graduate of Idabel High School in nearby Idabel, Oklahoma, about four hours southeast from Moore where the attack occurred. Nolen was a football player and, by available accounts, not a religious person at the time. A teammate, speaking to Truth Revolt, describes him as "normal" and "a good football player, but not great."

Local newspaper McCurtain Gazette reports (no online edition is available):

A classmate of Nolen's, who didn't wish to be identified, told this newspaper that he spoke to a close family member of Nolen's today.

He told this newspaper that according to the family member, Nolen was telling coworkers Thursday of an Islamic teaching that said women should be stoned for an offense, and that an argument followed the mark, Nolen was later fired and returned later Thursday, when he beheaded Colleen Hufford, the family member said.

One former resident recalls exclusively for Truth Revolt that only one Muslim family was living in Idabel at the time. The source says the family "owned and operated a pizza shop and started the local soccer league."

"They spent every Christmas at our home," she says of the family. "To my knowledge they never interacted with Alton."

The Gazette reports that Nolen has a long history with the local police department. He has been arrested at least 10 times by Idabel police between 2004 and 2009, on "allegations ranging from assault, burglary, obstructing an officer, resisting arrest, drug possession, and larceny," among other unlisted charges.

Nolan's classmates state that he converted to Islam while in prison in 2011. Records indicate he was incarcerated for, among other things, assaulting a police officer.

The Oklahoma Beheading: More ‘Workplace Violence’?

A convert to Islam who calls himself Jah’Keem Yisrael (formerly Alton Alexander Nolen) beheaded one of his coworkers and was shot while in the process of trying to behead another last Friday in Vaughan Foods, a food processing plant in Oklahoma. And now the predictable denial and obfuscation from the Obama Administration has begun.

On Sunday, Tony Blinken, Obama’s deputy national security adviser, was asked whether the beheading was an act of terror or, as the Obama Administration notoriously classified the Fort Hood jihad massacre of November 2009, workplace violence. “We don’t know,” said the Dickensian-named Blinken, blinkers firmly in place. “The FBI has an active investigation. I’m not going to get ahead of it. Let’s see what they find.” Wynken and Nod were unavailable for comment.

As for the FBI itself, FBI Special Agent in Charge James E. Finch said Saturday that the bureau hadn’t yet figured out what Yisrael’s motive was. He didn’t say whether or not the feds were examining his Facebook page, which, according to the New York Daily News, is “riddled with phrases like ‘Sharia law is coming’ and calling America ‘wicked.’ It also has photos of various terror groups and their leaders, including bin Laden, who was killed by U.S. forces operating in Pakistan in 2012.”

Not only that. Jah’Keem Yisrael filled his Facebook page with quotations from the Qur’an and exhortations to his fellow Muslims to be more rigorous and correct in their observance of Islamic ritual and morality. Also the page is a photograph of him with two members of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City; Yisrael stands between them holding up his index finger in the sign of the Islamic State, signifying Islam’s uncompromising monotheism. Nor is even that all: his page features photographs of beheadings.

And while the mosque is issuing statements implying that Yisrael was a bad Muslim or hardly even a Muslim at all, and that hardly anyone knew him there anyway, I received this insider report from a former member of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City:

I went to the same mosque the Oklahoma Muslim who beheaded his co-worker today. I live ten minutes away!

The Imam was Imad Enchassi the last I heard. He was a friend of mine. He is a Lebanese-born Sunni who hates Israel. He once gave a sermon that the Israelis were trying to collapse al-Aqsa mosque by digging tunnels underneath it. They have no issue with Palestinian suicide bombings because, as it was explained to me, that is the only weapon the Palestinians have.

They sold Milestones in the book shop while I was there, which as you know calls for replacing all non-Islamic governments with Islamic ones. I remember listening to a tape a friend of mine, Yahya Graff, another white convert to Islam, had that prayed for the destruction of Israel and America.

The imam when I first converted, Suhaib Webb, is hailed as a moderate by liberals in the United States but he was the one that explicitly told me that according to Islam, three choices are to be given to non-Muslims: convert, pay the jizyah tax and live under Islamic rule, or jihad. They try very hard to whitewash Islam when the media is around, but they believe in their religion and the ultimate goal of an Islamic caliphate.

Does all this mean that Jah’Keem Yisrael’s beheading of Colleen Hufford was a jihad attack? Not necessarily. Yisrael wouldn’t be the first person to be distraught over being fired and react violently. Many non-Muslims have done that. The difference here, however, is that when Yisrael became violent, he began beheading – just as the Islamic State is doing, and just as the Qur’an exhorts believers to do (“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” — 47:4).

At the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City and elsewhere, as he learned the teachings and attitudes of his new religion, Jah’Keem Yisrael breathed in an environment in which beheading was under certain circumstances a proper, even praiseworthy response.

Mother of Oklahoma Beheading Suspect Releases Video: There Are Two Sides to Every Story

The mother of Oklahoma beheading and stabbing suspect Jah’Keem Yisrael, also known as Alton Nolen, has released a video defending her son. In the video, she says she understands what her son is being "accused" of but hopes that justice and the truth will prevail. She apologized to the families of the victims while repeatedly saying, "That's not my son."

"There's two sides to every story and we're only hearing one," she said. "I’m praying that justice will prevail, the whole story will come out. The whole story."

Yisrael's sister also made a statement in the video, saying her brother has never been a violent person, that her family in shock and asked that people keep them in their prayers.

Yisrael will be charged with murder and police have said his actions were premeditated.

Meanwhile, police have arrested a second Islamic man who was threatened co-workers with beheadings.
