March 12, 2017 - My comment this date:

I have nick-named the defiant little girl statue temporarily placed on Wall Street, staring down the Wall Street Bull -- 'LITTLE KRISTEN FEARLESS'©-- as a tribute to her creator, artist KRISTEN VISBAL. (I think every young lady should have a REAL NAME and the name 'Kristen Fearless' seems appropriate for this valiant little girl.)

Ms. Visbal named her statue: 'Fearless Girl' which is 'accurate' I suppose but rather 'generic'.

I would be delighted to turn over my copyright for the statue name 'Little Kristen Fearless'
© to Ms. Visbal wtih no charge or obligation whatsoever. I just thought it would be a nice catchy name for lots of folks to remember her by. Sadly, I can picture a plethora of little girl statues being crafted in the near future and many being copycat-named simply 'Fearless Girl','Brave Girl', or 'Defiant Girl' --Tragic and very confusing!

HOWEVER, THERE IS NOW AND WILL IN THE FUTURE BE, ONLY ONE 'LITTLE KRISTEN FEARLESS'
©. SHE'S HISTORICAL AND VERY SPECIAL.

If perchance Ms. Visbal does not like my suggestion for the statue's name, I still hope she will consider giving her wonderful work of art a more personal identification than simply, 'Fearless Girl'.

The Truth About The Fearless Girl Statue

Wall St. feminists hijack man's self-funded artwork to push SJW agenda

      Infowars.com

      by Kit Daniels
      4/19/2017

      Excerpt:

The Fearless Girl statue heralded by feminists, which stands in opposition to the Charging Bull statue on Wall St. in Manhattan, was commissioned by a trillion-dollar investment group that’s part of the transnational ruling class funding third-wave feminism.

In comparison, the Charging Bull statue was sculpted – and self-funded – by Sicilian immigrant Arturo Di Modica who said it represented “the strength and power of the American people” in response to the recession triggered by the stock market crash of 1987.

But now, with the addition of the Fearless Girl statue, the bull now represents what feminists call “patriarchal oppression,” meaning that Di Modica’s work has been corrupted into a political statement he never intended, and that’s why he wants his statue removed from the spot it has stood for nearly 28 years.

“I put it there for art,” he told reporters. “My bull is a symbol for America. My bull is a symbol of prosperity and for strength.”

Fearless Girl derives its entire meaning – and its name – from the bull; without Di Modica’s statue, the girl would have nothing to be fearless of.

“She’s not angry at the bull — she’s confident, she knows what she’s capable of, and she’s wanting the bull to take note,” said Fearless Girl sculptor Kristen Visbal, admitting that her statue is entirely dependent on Di Modica’s for context.
