In the United States of America mother's day is celebrated on the second Sunday of every May. In the Dominican Republic (República Dominicana) mother's days is celebrated on the last Sunday of every May.

Hmmmmm! I note that Wikipedia article linked above incorrectly lists the 2nd Sunday in May for the celebration of Mother's Day in the Dominican Republic! Thus, they are saying that it is celebrated on the same day in both the DR and the USA!
