He then revealed that when he viewed Montgomery\u2019s data, it \u201cset [off] alarm bells\u201d because the subjects could not have qualified for the loans and investments which the documentation indicated they obtained.\u00a0 After consulting with a \u201cwhistleblower\u201d of the HSBC fraud<\/a> case which became public in 2011<\/a>, Zullo said he was told that the \u201cbank accounts\u201d Montgomery\u2019s records contained represented none other than money-laundering transactions.<\/em><\/p>\n

Zullo said that the \u201cbank accounts\u201d used for illegal purposes are \u201clayered\u201d so that the \u201ctrail of money\u201d will be impossible to follow.\u00a0 \u201cEvery one of them had the same replication of holdings,\u201d he said of the \u201caccounts\u201d in Montgomery\u2019s records.\u00a0 He then revealed that he viewed details of investment transactions, including brokers\u2019 notes, in Montgomery\u2019s records representing \u201ca breach\u201d with far-reaching implications and victimization.<\/em><\/p>\n

Zullo added that a \u201chighly-encrypted\u201d password of a Microsoft executive appearing in Montgomery\u2019s documentation was verified with its owner, demonstrating that the government had breached the servers of the internet\/software giant through multiple layers.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHe ended up turning over 600 million records to the FBI,\u201d Zullo said of Montgomery.<\/em><\/p>\n
