{"id":5790,"date":"2014-11-20T19:42:21","date_gmt":"2014-11-20T23:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/?p=5790"},"modified":"2014-11-20T22:29:22","modified_gmt":"2014-11-21T02:29:22","slug":"plane-crash-dec-11-2013-which-purportedly-resulted-in-the-death-of-loretta-fuddy-director-of-the-hawaii-department-of-health-was-recorded-with-a-gopro-camera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/plane-crash-dec-11-2013-which-purportedly-resulted-in-the-death-of-loretta-fuddy-director-of-the-hawaii-department-of-health-was-recorded-with-a-gopro-camera\/","title":{"rendered":"Plane Crash (Dec. 11, 2013) which purportedly resulted in the subsequent death of Loretta Fuddy (Director of the Hawaii Department of Health) was recorded with a GoPro camera?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/apLxOnIIx28?rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Today I learned that a passenger named Ferdinand Puentes who was aboard the airplane that crashed into the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii, which purportedly resulted in the subsequent death of Loretta Fuddy (Director of the Hawaii Department of Health), was able to capture the entire event (from the inside and then the outside after passengers got out into the water) with a GoPro camera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Yes, I know (or at least I know now) that this is &#8216;old news&#8217; and that others (e.g., <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.birtherreport.com\/2014\/01\/video-of-plane-crash-that-killed-fuddy.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Birther Report<\/a><\/span>) have already reported on this video. \u00a0In any event, I want to make a record of the video here at the WOBIK blog.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The airplane is reported to have been a\u00a0Cessna 208 Caravan. \u00a0It crashed on December 11th, 2013 off of the\u00a0north coast of Molokai Island which is part of the Hawaiin\u00a0archipelago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I&#8217;ve never seen the above embedded video until today. \u00a0 It appears that the passengers all remained relatively calm (very calm, in my opinion) during the crash and also as they climbed into the water and looked for anything available to grab onto to stay afloat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There appears to be no signs of panic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Loretta Fuddy was also the\u00a0Mayor of Kalawao County\u00a0(located on Molokai Island) from 2011 until her death. Apparently, under Hawaii state law, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health, who is appointed by the Governor of Hawaii, simultaneously serves as the Mayor of \u00a0Kalawao County while in office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fuddy was born on\u00a0April 12, 1948.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Her funeral was held at the Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus in Honolulu on December 21, 2013. \u00a0The following, among others, attended her funeral:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>a<\/strong>. \u00a0 Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>b<\/strong>. \u00a0 Hawaii State Senator (not a US Senator) Michelle Kidani.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>c<\/strong>. \u00a0 Hawaii State Senator (not a US Senator) Suzanne Chun Oakland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please exercise your free speech in the comments section below.
