{"id":5584,"date":"2014-09-30T15:20:22","date_gmt":"2014-09-30T19:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/?p=5584"},"modified":"2014-09-30T15:37:19","modified_gmt":"2014-09-30T19:37:19","slug":"october-2012-attorney-loren-collins-and-the-joel-gilberts-dreams-from-my-real-father","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/october-2012-attorney-loren-collins-and-the-joel-gilberts-dreams-from-my-real-father\/","title":{"rendered":"<b>October 2012<\/b>&#8211; Attorney Loren Collins discredits Joel Gilbert&#8217;s <i>Dreams From My Real Father<\/i>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YVYofNIYPaA?rel=0\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nearly two years ago (<strong>October, 2012<\/strong>) attorney Loren Collins discredited claims put forth by Joel Gilbert who indicated, in his film<\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B007XW07CO\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B007XW07CO&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=wobik-20&amp;linkId=G4B33DKNTYBAKW6K\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Dreams From My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception<\/span><\/a><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=wobik-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B007XW07CO\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">,\u00a0that Stanley Ann Dunham (Obama&#8217;s mother) posed for nude photographs taken by Frank Marshall Davis in December, 1960.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I watched Loren&#8217;s presentation (embedded above) back when he published it (2 years ago).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The presentation was objective, professional and I admired it (and still do).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Before I proceed any further I need to state here that I do not support attorney Collins. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Furthermore,\u00a0I typically don&#8217;t agree with much of anything that he says or writes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Collin&#8217;s book,<\/span> <em><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1616146346\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1616146346&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=wobik-20&amp;linkId=E3K7XXLEKRLK4G65\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Bullspotting: Finding Facts in the Age of Misinformation<\/span><\/a><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=wobik-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=1616146346\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/em>,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">is honestly one of the worst books I&#8217;ve ever forced myself to read.<\/span>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #000000;\">It wasn&#8217;t THE worst, I&#8217;ve read much worse [I&#8217;m still debating whether or not I should have my brain wiped after reading William Styron&#8217;s <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0679736379\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0679736379&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=wobik-20&amp;linkId=XBQ6UU33NC2S36GL\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Sophie&#8217;s Choice<\/span><\/a><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=wobik-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0679736379\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">], but it certainly was one of the worst.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you&#8217;d like to read my thoughts on Collin&#8217;s book you may do so at this link:<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/obama-news\/the-fierce-field-research-behind-enemy-lines-dr-conspiracys-wife-virginia-hutson-davidson-is-a-criminal-and-loren-collins-is-baloney-man\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Fierce field research behind enemy lines. Dr. Conspiracy\u2019s wife (Virginia Hutson Davidson) is a criminal and Loren Collins is a baloney man.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Joel Gilbert states (in his film) that the nude photos of Stanley Ann Dunham were taken in December, 1960 and that they were taken by Frank Marshall Davis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Attorney Collins found the very same photographs in a 1958 issue (issue 23) of <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Exotique<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> magazine. \u00a0 Issue 23 was published in early 1958 because the previous issue was published in 1957.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In other issues (1958) of <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Exotique<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> magazine Collins discovered that there were other women posing in the same room, and often on or near the same furniture. \u00a0Collins also found that some of the women in other photographs were wearing the same exact same skimpy outfit (and sometimes even the same earrings) that the woman, who Gilbert claims is Ann Dunham, was wearing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In early 1958 Stanley Ann Dunham was 15 years of age and she was a student at\u00a0Mercer Island High School in a suburb of Seattle, Washington. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Stanley_Ann_Dunham_1960_Mercer_Island_High_School_yearbook.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5586 alignleft\" alt=\"Stanley_Ann_Dunham_1960_Mercer_Island_High_School_yearbook\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Stanley_Ann_Dunham_1960_Mercer_Island_High_School_yearbook.jpg\" width=\"206\" height=\"237\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The adjacent photograph of Stanley Ann Dunham is included in the 1960 Mercer Island High School yearbook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Attorney Loren Collins should be commended for having taken the time, and the money, to procure the complete collection of <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Exotique<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0and then compiling relevant segments into a concise and objective presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Postscript<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">: William Styron&#8217;s <em><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0679736379\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0679736379&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=wobik-20&amp;linkId=EHQF4ABAF6G6227A\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Sophie&#8217;s Choice<\/span><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=wobik-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0679736379\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/span><\/em>\u00a0is probably not a bad book, but it did make me want to never, ever, remember that I&#8217;d read it.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A few years later I watched the movie and I found that the book is exceedingly better (at least in comparison).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please exercise your free speech in the comments section below.
