\"Tom<\/a>Since we’ve been talking about the esteemed Tom Mboya in our last three (3) reports here at the WOBIK blog we’ve decided it only appropriate to point out that he, like Obama Sr., did not know his true and correct date of birth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obama, Sr. used two different dates of birth on his own passports.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his 1959-issued passport he used June 18th 1934<\/strong> as his date of birth. \u00a0To view passport click<\/span> here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

In his 1964-issued passport he used June 18th 1936<\/strong> as his date of birth. \u00a0To view passport click<\/span> here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some skeptics have put forth claims indicating that the certified (2009) copy of Barack Hussein Obama II’s 1961 Coast Province General Hospital, Mombasa, British Protectorate of Kenya certificate of birth<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0is a forgery on grounds that the date of birth given for the father (Obama, Sr.) consists of nothing more but the year 1936<\/strong> (day and month not listed).<\/span><\/p>\n

Skeptics assert that the ‘forger’ couldn’t risk guessing at the month and day. \u00a0It appears that back in 2009 there weren’t yet any online references to Obama, Sr.’s full date of birth.<\/span><\/p>\n

As of 2014 there are at least four (4) official (i.e., found on official documents) dates of birth for Obama, Sr:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/span> \u00a01936<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/span> \u00a01934<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.<\/span> \u00a0June 18th 1934<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/span> \u00a0June 18th 1936<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In any event, there’s nothing atypical or significant about a person born in\u00a0Sub-Saharan Africa not knowing their date of birth. (Especially if you were born 80 years ago in the 1930’s.)<\/span><\/p>\n

For example, \u00a0Tom Mboya (Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya) did not really and truly know his exact date of birth. \u00a0See pages five (5) thru six (6) of the book,<\/span>\u00a0Tom Mboya: The Man Kenya wanted to forget<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>(1982), by David Goldsworthy:<\/span><\/p>\n

When\u00a0he was baptized\u00a0at Kilimambogo Mission on 22 April 1932, the\u00a0Catholic fathers estimated his age at about two years.\u00a0Mboya\u00a0himself, however, always insisted that 15 August 1930 was\u00a0his date of birth. And for\u00a0lack\u00a0of\u00a0any\u00a0known alternative, this date must be accepted.\u00a0By Luo custom the infant was called Odhiambo, signifying that he had been born in the evening. His other names accrued to him over a period.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Tom Mboya was assassinated on July 5th 1969 in Nairobi, Kenya.<\/span><\/p>\n
