{"id":4852,"date":"2014-08-16T17:13:40","date_gmt":"2014-08-16T21:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/?p=4852"},"modified":"2014-08-16T17:28:02","modified_gmt":"2014-08-16T21:28:02","slug":"leader-of-the-new-black-panther-party-on-obama-like-it-or-not-hes-from-kenya-and-hes-a-mau-mau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/leader-of-the-new-black-panther-party-on-obama-like-it-or-not-hes-from-kenya-and-hes-a-mau-mau\/","title":{"rendered":"Leader of the New Black Panther Party on Obama: <i>Like it or not he&#8217;s from Kenya and he&#8217;s a Mau Mau<\/i>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/New-Black-Panther-Party-Lucas-Daniel-Smith-2014.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4853\" alt=\"New Black Panther Party Lucas Daniel Smith 2014\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/New-Black-Panther-Party-Lucas-Daniel-Smith-2014.jpg\" width=\"268\" height=\"211\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The current chairman or leader of the <strong>New Black Panther Party<\/strong>\u00a0(est. \u00a01989 and not to be confused with the original <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Black Panther Party<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">) is a man named\u00a0Hashim Nzinga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Wednesday (August 13th 2014) \u00a0Hashim Nzinga was recorded, on video, making the following remarks regarding Obama,<\/span> <strong><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;like it or not he&#8217;s from Kenya and he&#8217;s a Mau Mau.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jTiyphY45yw\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It should be noted that during the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">2008 presidential election (Obama vs McCain)<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, poll watchers found two New Black Panther Party\u00a0militia\u00a0members shouting racial slurs outside a polling place in\u00a0Philadelphia on election day.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Two members of the New Black Panther Party, King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, stood in front of the entrance to the polling station in uniforms that have been described as\u00a0military\u00a0or\u00a0paramilitary.\u00a0King Shabazz carried a police-style\u00a0billy club or nightstick baton, and is reported to have pointed it at voters while both men shouted\u00a0racial slurs,\u00a0including phrases such as &#8220;<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">white devil<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8221; and &#8220;<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">you&#8217;re about to be ruled by the black man,\u00a0cracker.<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/neGbKHyGuHU\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The US Department of Justice became aware of the incident on election day and started an inquiry. Under the Bush administration, a criminal investigation into the incident was started, but later dropped.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, in January 2009 less than two weeks before the Bush administration left office the\u00a0civil rights\u00a0division of the US Department of Justice filed a civil suit under the\u00a0voting rights act\u00a0against the four (4) New Black Panther Party four defendants: King Samir Shabazz, Jerry Jackson, Malik Zulu Shabazz and the New Black Panther Party itself. The civil action accused them of using uniforms, racial insults and a weapon to intimidate voters and those who were there to assist them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The case remained open when the Obama administration took office a few weeks later.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/loretta-king-US-Department-of-Justice.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4858\" alt=\"loretta king US Department of Justice\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/loretta-king-US-Department-of-Justice.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/loretta-king-US-Department-of-Justice.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/loretta-king-US-Department-of-Justice-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a>In April 2009, the civil rights division of the US Department of Justice seemed to win the civil case by default because the New Black Panther Party defendants failed to show up in court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, the following month a longtime Justice official, <strong>Loretta King<\/strong> (who was then the acting head of the civil rights division) decided to reduce the scope of the case. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">T<span style=\"color: #000000;\">he US Department of Justice dropped the charges against the New Black Panther Party, its chairman and the man who was not carrying a club.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The US Department of Justice pressed forward with the lawsuit against the man with the club, obtaining an injunction that forbids him from carrying a weapon near an open polling place in Philadelphia through the year 2012.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please exercise your free speech in the comments section below.
