I&#8217;ve seen the year 1987 cited as well as the year 1988.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kenyan newspaper <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Standard<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> has officially outed Obama as having made his first trip (they don&#8217;t admit that he was born in Kenya) in the year 1983. The photograph in the newspaper (on page 25) listed below is labeled, <\/span><em><strong>&#8220;Obama during his first visit to Kogelo in 1983.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002179.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3540\" alt=\"WP_002179\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002179.jpg\" width=\"642\" height=\"633\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002180.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3542\" alt=\"WP_002180\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002180-300x225.jpg\" width=\"340\" height=\"287\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Could <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1983<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> be a typo? It doesn&#8217;t appear to be a typo.\u00a0 The 1983 trip to Kenya is referenced again on page 29.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Moreover, the article on page 29 was not recycled material from other news outlets or random bits from internet.\u00a0 The article was created from an interview that Sarah Obama (i.e., Obama&#8217;s step grandmother) did with<\/span> <em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Standard on Sunday<\/span><\/em> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">newspaper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002182.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3543 alignleft\" alt=\"WP_002182\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002182.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002182.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002182-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Taken from the above photograph of page 29:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obama has been to Kogelo, where his father grew up, three times.\u00a0 He first arrived in <strong>1983<\/strong>, a year after his father died in a road accident.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">His grandmother, Sarah Obama, who is already in the US for the inauguration, remembers the young Obama shedding tears at his father&#8217;s graveside.\u00a0 &#8220;He was very saddened and took time standing by the graveside,&#8221; Sarah told The Standard on Sunday in an earlier interview.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It was during that visit that he <\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">[Obama]<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> was pictured helping Sarah to sell vegetables at Nyang&#8217;oma market.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;During that visit the family were happy to meet him, but others villagers took little notice. I was happy because I had been told about him, but had never had the opportunity to meet him,&#8221; says Sarah, now 87.&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obama&#8217;s 2nd trip to Kenya is also cited on page 29:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obama returned to Kogelo in 1995.\u00a0 This time he brought along his wife, Michele. <\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: <strong>The Standard has mispelled Michelle Obama&#8217;s first name, perhaps this newspaper is a forgery?<\/strong>)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obama&#8217;s 3rd trip to Kenya is also cited on page 29:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">But when Obama returned to Kogelo in 2006, things had changed and his relatives realized that he was out to make history.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The 1983 trip to Kenya is referenced again on page 29 and can be seen in photograph directly below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002183.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3544 alignleft\" alt=\"WP_002183\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002183.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002183.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002183-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Taken from the above photograph of page 29:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In one of the pictures taken by a small camera Obama had carried with him to Kogelo in <strong>1983<\/strong>, he sits on the ground at a busy village market, helping his grandmother to sell sukuma wiki (kales).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In another picture, he is seated outside a grass-thatched house with an uncle, Saidi Obama. In yet another undated photo, he is pictured boarding a old matatu together with Michele from Kogelo to Kisumu. \u00a0(<strong>Note<\/strong>: <strong>The Standard has, for second time, mispelled Michelle Obama&#8217;s first name, perhaps this newspaper is a forgery?<\/strong>)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One of Obama&#8217;s cousins is mentioned by name, Wilson Obama Oluoch, on page 29.\u00a0 I cite the cousin&#8217;s name here for record in the case that it may be of research value to someone at some point in time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In an interesting twist The Standard on Sunday also cites, on other pages, Obama as having said or implied that his first trip to Kenya was in the year 1987 (as opposed to the year 1983).\u00a0 One example is listed on page 35 in which The Standard on Sunday cites a speech that Obama gave at the University of Nairobi in 2006:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002185.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3546 alignleft\" alt=\"WP_002185\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002185.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Taken from the above photograph of page 35:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;The first time I came to Kenya was in <strong>1987<\/strong>.\u00a0 I had just finished three years of work as a community organizer in low-income neighborhoods of Chicago, and was about to enroll in law school.\u00a0 My sister, Auma, was teaching that year at this University <\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">[<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">University of Nairobi]<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, and so I came to stay with her for a month.&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A second example is listed on page 17 in which The Standard on Sunday cites Obama&#8217;s book, <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dreams from My Father:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002188.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3547\" alt=\"WP_002188\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002188.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002188.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002188-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Taken from the above photograph of page 17:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In his celebrated autobiography, Dreams from My Father Obama gives a detailed narration of his encounters with poverty and life as a commoner. The first time he came to Kenya in <strong>1987<\/strong>, he writes, he spent a night on a couch in the sitting room of half-sister, Auma.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">Jerome Corsi in Kenya<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On page 5 of The Standard on Sunday a couple of columns, written by Oscar Obonyo, are dedicated to Jerome Corsi:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002177.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3548\" alt=\"WP_002177\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasobamaborninkenya.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/WP_002177.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Oscar Obonyo refers to Jerome Corsi as being a <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8216;Republican strategist&#8217;<\/span><\/em> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">who flew to Kenya in a last-minute desperate move to scrounge for <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8216;incriminating evidence&#8217;.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In an odd twist Obonyo goes to state that,<\/span> <em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With nothing in particular to crucify the opponent<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> [Obama]<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, the Republican propaganda machinery pegged its hopes on two individuals from Obama&#8217;s fatherland &#8211; Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Obama&#8217;s half-brother, George Onyango.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I thought it was particularly and overtly clear that Corsi traveled to Kenya to, primarily, investigate Obama&#8217;s birth in Kenya and birth certificate?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In any event, Obonyo goes on further to state that,<\/span> <em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One of the missions of Dr. Corsi, who has penned a set of anti-Obama texts, was to launch his book Obama Nation that is highly critical of the President-elect.\u00a0 He also planned to demonstrate the close link\u00a0 between Obama and the Kenya PM <\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">[Prime Minister]<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> whom he claims is a &#8220;Muslim with radical communist ideas&#8221;.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And to prove to the world that Obama was an irresponsible leader who had abandoned members of his family, he planned to hand over a sum of Sh 75,000 <\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">[Kenyan Shillings] <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(less than $1000 US Dollars)<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> to &#8220;poverty -stricken&#8221; Mr. Onyango<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> (Obama&#8217;s youngest half-brother)<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, who resides in Nairobi&#8217;s Huruma estate <\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(slum)<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">.\u00a0 However, Corsi&#8217;s mission flopped as immigration officials kicked him out of the country.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There is no mention of an investigation into a possible Kenyan birth or Kenyan birth certificate or hospital in Kenya.\u00a0 It appears that wanting to give 75,000 Kenyan shillings to a Obama&#8217;s young and struggling half-brother George, who lives in the Huruma slums, is something that will get you kicked out of Kenya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please exercise your free speech in the comments section below.
