\"ObamaFranklin Delano Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States of America was elected four (4) times, i.e., 1932, 1936, 1940 and 1944.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roosevelt served as US President in the years 1993 thru 1945 when he died not long into his fourth term.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 22 Amendment (twenty-second) was enacted, after Roosevelt was elected to a fourth term, to confine and restrict future Presidential candidates to two terms.\u00a0 The official language of the 22nd Amendment is provided directly below (bold emphasis mine):<\/span><\/p>\n

Section 1.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

No person shall be elected<\/strong> to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected<\/strong> to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Section 2.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states within seven years from the date of its submission to the states by the Congress.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The language of the 22nd (twenty-second) Amendment does not include Vice President nor is it applicable to a Vice President candidate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Article II, Section I, paragraph VI of the US Constitution states the President’s removal, death, resignation or inability to discharge the powers and duties the Vice President becomes the President:<\/span><\/p>\n

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The very last sentence of the 12 (twelfth) Amendment states:<\/span><\/p>\n

But<\/span> no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

What determines whether or not as person is eligible to office of the President?\u00a0\u00a0 Article II, Section I, paragraph V of the US Constitution:<\/span><\/p>\n

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

If Barack Obama were a natural born citizen he would be eligible to the office President.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The 22nd (twenty-second) amendment disqualifies\/bars Barack Obama (and any other President) from being <\/span>elected<\/span><\/em> to a third term but does not make him <\/span>ineligible<\/span><\/em> to office of of President.<\/span><\/p>\n

After serving two terms as President there is nothing, no language, in the US Constitution which would prohibit Barack Obama from being elected to the office of Vice President. \u00a0 Moreover, upon the President’s removal, death, resignation or inability to discharge the powers and duties Vice President Barack Obama would become President Barack Obama.<\/span><\/p>\n

Barack Obama will have been elected to the office of US President twice (2 times) and served as US President three (3) times.\u00a0 Nothing unconstitutional about it.<\/span><\/p>\n
