An administrative case (2222582-OSAH-SECSTATE-CE-57-Beaudrot<\/strong>) in Georgia challenging Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (MTG) eligibility (over the J6 “insurrection” (it wasn’t an insurrection)) to run for US Congress has come to an end. Decision: MTG is qualified to be a candidate for Representative for Georgia\u2019s 14th Congressional District.<\/p>\n

The Petitioners (DAVID ROWAN, DONALD GUYATT, ROBERT RASBURY, RUTH DEMETER, and DANIEL COOPER) who filed the candidate challenge contended that MTG does not meet the qualifications to be a candidate for U.S. Representative pursuant to Section Three of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution:<\/p>\n

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.<\/strong> But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
