\"\"<\/a>Yesterday afternoon I dropped by grandmother’s house (we both live in Wellington Heights) and she was watching an interview with David Maraniss<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> the author of the book, ‘Barack Obama: The Story’<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The interview was live on C-SPAN2 on their BOOK TV which was hosted by a guy named Peter.\u00a0 You can watch the entire video interview (approximately 2 hours) as well as David Maraniss’s personal footage from Kenya at the following links:<\/span><\/p>\n

During the last segment of the interview callers (I’m leaning towards\u00a0identifying\u00a0one or maybe two of the callers as being birthers) phoned in with questions.\u00a0\u00a0During the\u00a0entire interview I gathered the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 David Maraniss is what I would call Obama-friendly.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maraniss states, on more than one\u00a0occasion,\u00a0that it would not have been possible for Obama to have been born anywhere but Hawaii because INS was keeping daily tabs on Obama senior at that very same time period.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Maraniss also wrote a book\u00a0about President Bill Clinton (as well as at least eight other books).<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Maraniss is also\u00a0writing a volume II of the Barack Obama: The Story.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Maraniss appears to be a fair and objective reporter but\u00a0in my opinion he does\u00a0not, when it comes to Barack\u00a0Hussein Obama\u00a0II,\u00a0seem to be a judgmental guy.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m fairly certain that Obama might not be all that\u00a0thrilled with all of the disclosures that Maraniss makes in his book but Marraniss appears to make these disclosures in an affable or friendly manner and sometimes is lighthearted for example when it comes to Obama’s use of drugs in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n

David Maraniss’s “Barack Obama: The Story” is available for sale starting tomorrow Tuesday – 06.19.2012.<\/span><\/p>\n
