Vancleave, Mississippi – Mickell Gordon (19 years of age black boy) called Bridgett Forehand (14 years of age white girl) a “cracker” and was harassing her.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

According to a witness (a friend of the deceased), there was no confrontation prior to the shooting between Forehand and anyone else.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cNo, none at all,\u201d said the witness when asked if the suspect had a reason to be upset. \u201cWe were just trying to get them to go away nicely – or I was – and she was just going crazy. I don\u2019t know why. She started waving (the gun) around. I turned around and started walking away, and I saw the gunshot out of the corner of my eye.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cShe didn\u2019t even know him,\u201d added the witness\u2019 mother. \u201cWhen she was arrested in the police car, she kept yelling, \u2018Is Marcus okay?\u2019 She didn\u2019t even know his name.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
