President Donald Trump said Wednesday he will win a second term if Vice President Mike Pence takes action while Congress counts electoral votes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Pence \u201ccomes through for us, we will win the Presidency,\u201d Trump asserted in a tweet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMany States want to decertify the mistake they made in certifying incorrect & even fraudulent numbers in a process NOT approved by their State Legislatures (which it must be). Mike can send it back!\u201d he added.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden\u2019s team didn\u2019t return a request for comment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another missive, Trump said Pence \u201chas the power to reject fraudulently chosen electors.\u201d He also spoke of the matter while rallying in Georgia, saying his \u201chope\u201d was that Pence delivers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vice president serves as president of the Senate. In that role, Pence will be presiding over the joint session of Congress on Jan. 6.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
