It appears that Rueters<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/strong>obtained the above ‘handout photo’ from the Romney campaign on or about May 29, 2012.\u00a0 My thoughts are as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 1.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 When did a ‘handout photo’ become an official birth record?\u00a0 How is this any better than the image of the Obama short form (and also the Obama long form) birth record?<\/span><\/p>\n 2.<\/strong>\u00a0 Why is the bottom portion of the document missing?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Obama short form at least purported to display the entire document.<\/span><\/p>\n 3.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 At last, the moment I have been waiting for, I can smack (virtually, not physically) the teeth out of 1000s of birther mouths for their vehement\u00a0high-pitched shout and shrieks of ‘COLB<\/strong>‘s and ‘Certification of Live Birth<\/strong>‘s and ‘Certificate of Live Birth<\/strong>‘s.\u00a0\u00a0 The acronym COLB can be used for either document yet I had to listen for years about how birthers (or at least many of them) would not accept a <\/span>stinking COLB and that they demand a Certificate of Live Birth.<\/span><\/p>\n From the outset of keeping birth records states, counties and municipalities have applied a plethora of different terminologies to birth records.\u00a0 Moreover, terminologies have changed and sometimes have differed within the same state and other issuing agencies within the state, city or municipality.\u00a0\u00a0 Romney’s team appears to have released a photo handout of what is ostensibly his Certificate of Live Birth<\/strong> and so it appears that in Michigan this is their terminology for a short birth record (and possibly the same terminology is used for the long form in Michigan). Perhaps,\u00a0conceivably, one of the reasons, though by no means limited to, that Romney’s Certificate of Live Birth gets a free pass from a soaring number of birthers is because it doesn’t say Certification (yet its clearly a short form and what I call an abstract)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.<\/strong>\u00a0 Whats up with the the thin crust data on Romeny’s ‘handout photo’ short form birth paper?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Father’s birth place is listed as Mexico?\u00a0\u00a0 That’s all we get on this glorious and masterful handout photo birth paper?\u00a0\u00a0 Where in Mexico might have been a pleasant touch but probably just way too much of a reasonable demand for a handout photo birth paper.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.<\/strong>\u00a0 Mom was born in Utah but forget about any reference whatsoever to where in Utah mom was born.\u00a0\u00a0 Some place in Utah I suppose. 6.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Where is the magnificent and majestic embossed seal?\u00a0\u00a0 Or are those two small seals in the top corners of the birth paper raised (embossed) as they are on many of the new birth records such as they are in Iowa and if so do those small raised corner seals suffice as an embossed seal when those seals are part of the document before any birth-bio-data added to the document?<\/span><\/p>\n I’ve never been a big fan of Vattel and I’m not so sure that one needs to have two US citizen parents (as opposed to at least one) to be a Natural Born Citizen.\u00a0\u00a0 However, I’ve listened to the Vattel bickering and vehement exchanges (to the point where I want to spew or at very least dry heave) from fellow birther’s for years now and I’m now wondering why many (though not all) fellow birthers are not hitting the books and pulling all-nighters to learn more\u00a0intrinsic details and circumstances regarding Romney’s father’s birth, and citizenship issues, in Mexico.<\/span><\/p>\n I’ve heard, and read, all sorts of never ending talk (including what appears to be 1984 doublethink) regarding all sorts of esoteric US, British and French statutes, enactments of a legislative authority that governs a state city or county, and all the acts, statutes, policies and regulations with regard to Americans being born overseas and their parent and or parents and also foreigners born within the US and their foreign parent or parents.\u00a0\u00a0 YET ALL OF THE SUDDEN NEARLY EVERY (though not all) BIRTHER, and overnight at that, KNOWS ALL THERE IS AND EVER WAS TO KNOW ABOUT BEING BORN IN MEXICO and white Romney gets a free NBC pass<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n I think Romney’s father was born in 1907 (and in Mexico).\u00a0\u00a0 I, and you neither, understand or are aware of all statutes, enactments of a legislative authority that governs a state city or county, and all the acts, policies and regulations in effect at the time in the US (which could also differ within the US itself at that time) and also in Mexico (which could also differ within Mexico itself at the time).<\/span><\/p>\n Furthermore we need to resolutely take into account that Romney’s father (and the rest Romney’s people) was a Morman which further complicates and the scenario.\u00a0 For example there was the The Edmunds Act (also known as the Edmunds Anti-Polygamy Act of 1882) which stripped Morman’s of many of their civil rights.\u00a0 This is merely an example and Romney defenders need not email with long, or short, emails to the effect that the Edmunds Act is irrelevant to passing citizenship from father\/mother to son\/daughter.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t but the point is that there’s a lot of data out there and I, nor you, have had the time to put on our gumshoe and track it all down and subsequently digest it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Many readers may have been aware of the Edmonds Acts before you read this report but I’m sure that some of you weren’t.\u00a0\u00a0 Just imagine what else we (myself included) are not yet aware of at this point.<\/span><\/p>\n Its also a plausible and realistic possibility that Romney’s parents lost US citizenship (which doesn’t necessarily imply that wanted or opted to lose it) at some point during their lengthy habitation in Mexico.\u00a0\u00a0 Theres also a remote and distant possibility that Romney’s father never was a US citizen.
