It was traced to Chinese agents working at a Canadian lab. It  isolated and provided the first genome sequence of the SARS coronavirus  and identified another coronavirus NL63 in 2004.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This Winnipeg based <a href=\"http:\/\/greatgameindia.com\/canada-investigates-chinas-biological-espionage\/\">Canadian lab was targeted by Chinese agents<\/a> in what could be termed as <a href=\"http:\/\/greatgameindia.com\/canada-investigates-chinas-biological-espionage\/\">Biological Espionage<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Chinese Biological Espionage<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I<em>n March 2019, in mysterious event a shipment of exceptionally virulent <a href=\"http:\/\/greatgameindia.com\/canada-investigates-chinas-biological-espionage\/\">viruses from Canada\u2019s NML ended up in China<\/a>. The event caused a major scandal with Bio-warfare experts questioning why <a href=\"http:\/\/greatgameindia.com\/canada-investigates-chinas-biological-espionage\/\">Canada was sending lethal viruses to China<\/a>. Scientists from NML said the highly lethal viruses were a potential bio-weapon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Following investigation, the incident was traced to <a href=\"http:\/\/greatgameindia.com\/chinese-researchers-caught-stealing-coronavirus-from-canadian-lab\/\">Chinese agents working at NML<\/a>. Four months later in July 2019, a group of <a href=\"http:\/\/greatgameindia.com\/chinese-researchers-caught-stealing-coronavirus-from-canadian-lab\/\">Chinese virologists were forcibly dispatched from the Canadian National Microbiology Laboratory<\/a>  (NML).
