Delong-Bas. \u00a0The authors\u2019 goal is to  exonerate Shariah, which they portray as enshrining \u201cthe common good (maslahah),  human dignity, social justice, and the centrality of the community\u201d  from Western criticism or fear, which they say is based solely on \u201cmyth\u201d  and \u201csensationalism.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Contrary to its subtitle, then, John Esposito\u2019s\u00a0 and Natana J.
