While the probe did not focus on Obama\u2019s birthplace, lead investigator Mike Zullo stated on a radio program <\/em>last year<\/em><\/a> that two U.S. intelligence agents are aware that Obama could not have met the \u201cnatural born Citizen\u201d requirement of <\/em>Article II<\/em><\/a>, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution to serve as president.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is \u201c<\/em><\/strong>an open secret<\/em><\/strong><\/a>,\u201d Zullo quoted the agents as having told him, that Obama was not born in the United States.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Zullo has also said that the long-form image was posted \u201cwith the intent to deceive.\u201d – <\/em>(bold emphasis added)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On <\/em>March 1, 2012<\/em><\/a>, Zullo gave the first of what would be three press conferences over the duration of the investigation during which he and then-Sheriff Joseph Arpaio declared there was probable cause to believe the birth certificate and Selective Service form are forgeries.\u00a0 Both later said they were baffled when the FBI took no action.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
