It wasn\u2019t all that long ago that standup comedian Dave Chappelle was brilliant.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take it from Slate, which in 2014 called him \u201cbrilliant\u201d and in 2017 described his Netflix specials as \u201celectrifying.\u201d Now Slate complains, \u201che went away for a long time, and while you changed with the times, he fashioned himself a badge of honor for defiantly not doing so.\u201d That long time is 2 years.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two years isn\u2019t a long time chronologically, but it\u2019s an eternity in politically correct dog years.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sticks and Stones is full of jokes about school shootings, child molestation, and transgender sensitivities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chappelle casually swipes at the \u201c#MeToo headache\u201d, LGBT lobbying, \u201cyou are never, ever allowed to upset the alphabet people\u201d, and \u201cmy money, my choice,\u201d his rejoinder to abortion\u2019s \u201cmy body, my choice.\u201d \u201cIf you decide to have the baby, a man should not have to pay,\u201d he snaps.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
