Look at the black unemployment rate \u2014 LOWEST IN HISTORY under Trump. Trump signed into law what the first black president couldn\u2019t \u2014 criminal justice reform. Trump is also responsible for the <\/em>first drop<\/em><\/a> in <\/em>opioid deaths<\/em><\/a> in decades\u2026 And how strange that <\/em>this<\/em><\/a> is suddenly not getting any attention:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Donald Trump highlighted Baltimore City during a White House ceremony Wednesday afternoon as he signed an executive order focused on so-called opportunity zones.<\/p>

Opportunity zones are under-served and distressed communities where tax incentives are offered for private investment.<\/p>

Baltimore preacher Donte Hickman, who attended Wednesday\u2019s ceremony, told the president that Baltimore is prepared to be a demonstration project.<\/p>

\u201cYour influence on federal agencies and private entities through this executive order will enable distressed communities like Broadway East in Baltimore to obtain investment needed to capitalize and bridge funding gaps to create obtainable health, wealth, housing, educational, recreational, grocery and employment opportunities,\u201d Hickman said.<\/p>……………………………………………<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
