Trump to slap a 5 percent tariff on goods from <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/mexico\/\"><em>Mexico<\/em><\/a><em> in an effort to get the <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/mexican-government\/\"><em>Mexican government<\/em><\/a><em> to take seriously the problem of undocumented immigrants crossing the U.S.-<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/mexico\/\"><em>Mexico<\/em><\/a><em> border.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The mainstream media, predictably, started  lamenting on how the price of avocados for American consumers may  potentially increase a few cents, and completely ignored the $200  billion American taxpayers pay each year in illegal immigration costs.
