Attorney General Bill Barr assigned top special prosecutor John Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia probe.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Durham, a US Attorney in Connecticut will examine the origins of Spygate according to a new report by <\/em>The New York Times<\/em><\/a>, citing two sources familiar with the matter.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Durham, who was nominated by President Trump in 2017, has a history of investigating potential wrongdoing among National Security officials, reported the NY Times.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspector General Michael Horowitz is also investigating FISA abuses in a separate probe.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
