I bought this Kenyan newspaper in December 2009.<\/span>
\nThe Standard (newspaper in Kenya). January 21, 2009. Mr President Barack Obama.<\/a> <\/object><\/p>\n

The January 21, 2009 paper edition of <\/span>The Standard<\/span><\/strong><\/em> newspaper contains 2 additional sections which I have included in the above embedded scribd.com (Patriot1980) PDF.\u00a0\u00a0 The Standard runs from page one (1) thru page forty-nine (49).\u00a0 The\u00a0 Standard’s Fever Pitch (Sports) runs from page fifty (50) thru fifty-six (56).\u00a0 The Standard’s Crime, Courts & Investigations (CCI) runs from page fifty-seven (57) thru seventy-two (72).<\/span><\/p>\n

This newspaper was printed in Kenya the day after Barack Obama was sworn in as de facto President here in the United States of America.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nearly all of this edition (though not entirely) of The Standard consists of, and is dedicated to, covering the story of Barack Obama becoming President (de facto) of the United States of America.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that this newspaper contains unique data that isn’t found elsewhere.\u00a0\u00a0 It doesn’t state that Obama was born in Kenya but there is a mega-plethora of data and clues that a good detective\/investigator needs to crack the case.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Below I have provided a list of thought-provoking quotes and data from the newspaper which I jotted down while reading it.\u00a0\u00a0 Before entering into that list I want to note that Lands Minister James Orengo is mentioned in this newspaper as making unique statements and actions, in the Kenyan Parliament, on the day that Obama was sworn in to Office.\u00a0 (Do you remember his much later parliament floor statement in March 2010?\u00a0\u00a0 In\u00a0 April 2010 I posted a FreeRepublic.com thread about him: Kenya Parliament (National Assembly, James Orengo) admits that President Barack Obama born in Kenya.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 I also want to note that this newspaper uniquely puts Obama in Kenya in the year 1983 while most other sources put Obama in Kenya in 1985 or 1986 or 1988.<\/span><\/p>\n

I encourage the reader to create a list of their own as they read through the now recently digitized newspaper.\u00a0 Afterwards please share your findings at the foot of this blog report in the comments sections.

Page 4.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>“Obama gave his speech only a few feet away from his step-grandmother Mama Sarah Obama and step-mother and step-sister Keziah Obama and Dr Auma Obama.”<\/span><\/em> Isn’t Dr [Rita] Auma Obama the half-sister of de facto President Barack Obama?\u00a0 Can someone (you, the reader) people help me ascertain whether The Standard’s indication of ‘step-sister’ is a typo or if it is really and truly factually accurate?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Page 4.\u00a0\u00a0 (The Standard quoting Obama)<\/span>\u00a0 “…and do our business in the light of day…<\/span><\/em>” \u00a0 I don’t consider your present day concealment of\u00a0 your physical birth in Kenyan as doing your business in the light of day.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 4.\u00a0\u00a0 (The Standard quoting Obama)\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 “My fellow citizens, I stand before you, humbled…”<\/span><\/em> \u00a0 Is he really and truly a citizen of the the United States of America?\u00a0\u00a0 If so, is a citizen the equivalent of a natural born citizen?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 4.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 “Defense Secretary Robert Gates sat out Barack Obama’s inauguration at undisclosed location as the “designated successor” in the event of a catastrophe.<\/span><\/em>”\u00a0\u00a0 Before reading The Standard I did not know this.\u00a0\u00a0 I’ve never contemplated the scenario but, before reading The Standard, I probably would have been inclined to think (and incorrectly so) that the President-elect’s Vice President-elect would be the “designated successor”.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 5.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 “Obama’s inauguration, significant to Kenya because of his ancestry that is traced to <\/span>K’Ogelo<\/span> village in Siaya District…<\/span><\/em>”\u00a0<\/span> “…Obama had drawn glowing reference to Kenya’s K’Ogelo village where his father is buried…<\/span>“<\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Kogelo is abundantly mentioned throughout this edition of The Standard but only on page 5 (twice on page 5) is the spelling of K’Ogelo used.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 5.\u00a0\u00a0 Lands Minister James Orengo (Remember his parliament floor statement in March 2010?\u00a0\u00a0 In\u00a0 April 2010 I posted a FreeRepublic.com thread about him:<\/span> Kenya Parliament (National Assembly, James Orengo) admits that President Barack Obama born in Kenya.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>)<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0 Its thought-provoking to see him mentioned here in The Standard, more than a year before his parliament floor statement about Obama being born in Kenya, regarding an hour that was supposed to be set aside in the Kenyan Parliament to congratulate Obama.<\/span><\/p>\n

“To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.” (-that was\u00a0 The Standard quoting Obama).\u00a0\u00a0 Scandalous events unfolding around various [Kenyan] government departments in the past few weeks have put the [Kenyan] government on the spot for what is seen as condoning corruption in its coalition ranks.\u00a0 The mention of “corruption and deceit”, came coincidentally after [Kenyan] Parliament was allowed by the Speaker to set aside an hour to congratulate Obama, but the motion turned into censure for the [Kenyan] Government for turning a blind eye to corruption.\u00a0 “I am not ready to be called a thief and lumped up with these individuals that’s is why I will start naming them if [Kenyan] Parliament does not,” said Minister James Orengo as he turned the congratulation debate into talk about the latest corruption scandals that have rocked the country.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Page 6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Saudi Arabian Saleh al-Mohaisen in Riyadh said, regarding Obama,<\/span>\u00a0“I feel we share the same blood.<\/span><\/em>” \u00a0 The context implies that this should not be taken literally.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 8.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 “Luo culture artefacts <\/span><\/em>(sic)<\/span> and Obama carvings sold out in the village.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Page 8.<\/span> \u00a0 “A soccer match between local clubs to clinch the Obama Cup also took place.”<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n

Page 8.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>“…Kanyadhiang village, where part of the late Barack Obama senior’s family live.<\/span><\/em>”<\/p>\n

Page 8.<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0“Led by Luo Council of Elders Chairman Riaga Ogallo, they thanked Americans for rising beyond race to elect a black man as their president.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Page 8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In Kogelo there are two (2) schools named after President Obama.\u00a0 In Kanyadhiang there is a school being built that will be named after Barack Obama senior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Page 8.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 “It was at this market where Obama once helped his grandmother to sell vegetable when he first came to Kenya in 1983.<\/span><\/em>”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Most other sources list 1985, 1986 or 1988 as the year that Obama firsted visted (returned to) Kenya.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 10.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kenya’s President, Kibaki, said,<\/span> “On this special day we recall the remarkable journey you have traveled to become the leader of your great country.”<\/span><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0 What does that mean?\u00a0\u00a0 Born in Kenya?
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 10.\u00a0\u00a0 Kenya’s Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka<\/span> “said there was a lot to learn from Obama’s journey to the top despite his coming from a less-privileged background.”<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 What in el diablo is that supposed to mean?\u00a0 I wasn’t aware that Obama ever had it rough while growing up.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Page 10.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 “Obama becomes America’s 44th president and the first black to capture the White House.<\/span><\/em>”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Since when does a President ‘capture’ the White House?\u00a0\u00a0 Capture, as a verb, means to take into one’s possession or control by force.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Page 10.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 “Parliament adjourns to honor ‘son of Kenya’ <\/span><\/em>(President Obama)<\/span> as legislators call for electoral reforms.” \u00a0 “Parliament adjourned an hour and-a-half early to congratulate US President elect Barack Obama ahead of his inauguration.” \u00a0 <\/span><\/em>A picture of Lands Minister James Orengo is displayed and a somewhat more detailed discussion of the event, originally cited on page 5, is given.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Page 18.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> “On Friday, the Secret Service arrested a man in Mississippi after he said on an Internet chat room that he was going\u00a0 to kill Obama.\u00a0\u00a0 “I have decided I will assassinate Obama Barack Obama,” Mr Steven Joseph Christopher wrote.\u00a0 “It’s really nothing personal about the man…but I know it’s for the country’s own good that I do this.”\u00a0 He later said that he didn’t even have a gun, but the Secret Service is taking no chances.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
