Amazon has officially entered dystopian territory by banning an entire range of dating advice books because they violate unspecified \u201ccontent guidelines.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Controversial author Roosh Valizadeh revealed the ban last night, tweeting, \u201cAmazon has removed 9 of my books from sale, including my newest book Game, which was ranking in the top 1000. They won\u2019t tell me the specific reason. Many of the books were on sale for 5+ years.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Valizadeh later received an email from Amazon informing him that \u201ccontent guidelines\u201d were broken, but was again given no specifics.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I\u2019m in a Franz Kafka novel,\u201d he tweeted.<\/em><\/p>\n

According to Amazon\u2019s guidelines<\/a>, illegal content and porn are banned (none of which appear in Valizadeh\u2019s books), so the only guideline he could be in violation of is \u201coffensive content\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we deem offensive is probably about what you would expect,\u201d states the guideline, a completely vague description which could literally be anything that one person deems offensive.<\/em><\/p>\n
