WOW! ‘Obama Binary Options’ top trader is quite young, and obviously has both beauty and brains! She must be worth MILLIONS! And look directly into those dark, seductive eyes! Surely, SHE can’t be part of a major financial SCAM??? (lol & sarc)

I wonder; What is it about the ‘Binary Options’ market that seems to attract such pretty women?

Bruce, I can see how you might think that she is worth millions. In reality she makes 100 Dominican Pesos an hour (approximately 2 dollars and 50 cents in US Dollars) plus commission.

But she has scammed millions from clients in the USA and around the world.

Carl, with all due respect, my advice is that you stay away from binary options. Especially binary option websites which offer bonus money. Typically with bonuses you have to win four times (or something like that) the amount of the bonus before the bonus money becomes real money. Chances are that that will never happen. Essentially, or in other words, bonus money can only be used for practice.

Furthermore, please don’t buy any ‘packages’ that binary options websites offer. The packages (e.g., Silver member, Gold member, Platinum member) are just a way of taking a thousand or two dollars from you for nothing.

Beware of ‘insurance’ that you can buy for your trades. If you loose $1000 and it is replaced with a $800 bonus please remember that that bonus money is not real money until it has been, often times, increased fourfold by your winnings (which likely will not happen).

    Its not worth it, Carl.

PS- If you look around online you’ll see that most people who are interested in betting on binary options are people who are not experienced traders and they do not have any real understanding of the market. For example, teenagers in undeveloped countries around the globe are into binary options.

Please also remember that just because a binary option brokerage or firm or websites indicates that the are licensed in (or that they operate in) in North American doesn’t mean that that they are really located in North America or that any of their employees are North American.

Ontario’s Securities Commission Warns Against RBOptions

    Excerpt:

Ontario’s regulator is taking cue from British Colombia, warning investors about allegedly Toronto-based binary options brokerage RBOptions. According to Ontario Securities Commission’s (OCS) website, the company has not been permitted to do business as http://www.rboptions.com and is not registered to engage in the business of trading in securities or advising anyone with respect to investing in, buying or selling securities.

The structure of the Canadian regulatory framework is based on separate regulators operating in each of its 13 different provinces. The latest warning comes only a couple of months after British Colombia’s Securities Commission (BCSC) cracked down on several binary options brands, including the above mentioned RBOptions.

The company proudly released a press release back in September stating that it is the only binary options brokerage operating from within Canada – a move that has apparently attracted the attention of local authorities. While the company does not claim on its website that it is regulated, a warning from another of Canada’s 13 provincial regulators was only a matter of time.

Carl, its your money and you are free to do what you want with it.

    However, please read the following:

Carl, with a due respect, Kevin West is most likely not the brokers real name (although it may be) and he likely is not a real broker. Even if RB Option is not a scam he is still lying to you.

If this guy is making $18,000 a day then why is he calling you wanting you to trade? All the scam brokers use those type of lines, they say that they are going to go in on the trade too and that if you can add a little money (or a lot of money if you it) that you can make money too.

If you really listen to what West has told you and what he continues to tell you you will know that he is lying.

Even if RB Options is not a full blown scam that doesn’t mean that their employees don’t lie to customers. Moreover, the employees are most likely instructed to say whatever it takes convince customers in to making deposits. Even if a broker is regulated doesn’t mean that they are not lying to customers.

If you do some research you’ll find that binary options are attracting a whole new breed of customers, brokers and analysts. Its attracting people who in the past have been scammed by work at home schemes and people who have no understanding of the market but who are looking to get rich by doing something online which requires very few skills.

Young people from lower ranks of society in the United States are interested in binary options. Customers and scammers around the world are finding out that binary options are the new way to scam Americans or anyone else in the world who have no real knowledge of the market.

People want money and a younger generation of criminals understand that robbing banks and committing robberies or violent crimes are no longer possible (unless you enjoy prison). Technology is making those sort of crimes very difficult to successfully conduct and the payout for those crimes are relatively petty nowadays.

Criminals from the lower ranks of society (e.g., a kid who in the past who may have broken into your home), especially the younger generation, are turning to the internet.

  13. Alexander Green is named on the above list of senior brokers at RB Options but he also appears to work for another broker named StockPair.com

  14. Carl, I’ve just now been able to ascertain that the only thing (aside from customers) that RB Options has in Canada or anywhere else in North America is a virtual office (website/domain).

It appears that owners of RB Options may be from Israel.

Keep in my mind that the owners of binary optios scam broker YTF Trade Limited (licensed in Cyprus) and Obama Binary Options are from Israel too.

Carl, one question – Have you ever tried to withdraw funds from your trading account at RB Options?

    Carl,

MY SUGGESTION is for you to carefully read the entire, below-linked NASDAQ/Investopedia article regarding ‘penny stocks’ and then follow the excellent recommedations provided:

    http://www.nasdaq.com/investing/lowdown-on-penny-stocks.stm

    The Lowdown On Penny Stocks

    Republished by NASDAQ
    Provided by: Investopedia
    Article by Investopedia Staff

    Excerpts:

Successful companies aren’t born, they’re made. They have to work through the ranks like everyone else. Unfortunately, some investors believe that finding the next “big thing” means scouring through penny stocks in hopes of finding the next Microsoft or Wal-Mart. As we’ll explain in this article, this is probably not the best strategy.

What Exactly Is a Penny/Micro-Cap Stock?

In this article we’ll use the terms “penny stocks” and “micro-cap stocks” interchangeably. Technically, micro-cap stocks are classified as such based on their market capitalization while penny stocks are looked at in terms of their price. Definitions vary, but in general a stock with a market capitalization between $50 and $300 million is a micro-cap. (Less than $50 million is a nano-cap.) According to the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) any stock under $5 is a penny stock. Again, definitions can vary, some set the cut-off point at $3, while others consider only those stocks trading at less than $1 to be a penny stock. Finally, we consider any stock that is trading on the Pink Sheets or OTCBB to be a penny stock.

The main thing you have to know about penny/micro stocks is that they are much riskier than regular stocks. For instance, junk bonds (bonds with a rating lower than BBB) are considered a much higher risk than those of investment grade (bonds with a rating higher than BBB). In the world of stocks the equivalent comparison is penny stocks vs. blue-chip.

What’s the Problem with These Stocks?

What makes penny stocks risky? Four major issues arise when you decide to buy these securities:

Lack of Information Available to the Public
    …………………….
    No Minimum Standards
    …………………….
    Lack of History
    …………………….
    Liquidity

When stocks don’t have much liquidity, two problems arise: first, there is the possibility that the stock you purchased cannot be sold. If there is a low level of liquidity, it may be hard to find a buyer for a particular stock, and you may be required to lower your price until it is considered attractive by another buyer. Second, low liquidity levels provide opportunities for some traders to manipulate stock prices, which is done in many different ways – the easiest is to buy large amounts of stock, hype it up and then sell it after other investors find it attractive (also known as pump and dump). – (bold emphasis added)

    The Problem for Investors

Penny stocks have been a thorn in the side of the SEC for some time because micro-cap stocks’ lack of available information and poor liquidity make these groups of stocks an easy target for fraudsters. There are many different ways these people will try to part you from your money, but here are two of the most common:

Biased Recommendations – Some micro-cap companies pay individuals to recommend the company stock in different media, i.e. newsletters, financial television and radio shows. You may receive spam e-mail trying to persuade you to purchase particular stock. All e-mails, postings and recommendations of that kind should be taken with a grain of salt. Look to see if the issuers of the recommendations are being paid for their services as this is a giveaway of a bad investment and make sure that any press releases aren’t given falsely by people looking to influence the price of a stock.

Off-Shore Brokers– Under regulation S, the SEC permits companies selling stock outside the U.S. to foreign investors to be exempt from registering stock. These companies will typically sell the stock at a discount to offshore brokers who, in turn, sell them back to U.S. investors for a substantial profit. By cold calling a list of potential investors (investors with enough money to buy a particular stock) and providing attractive information, these dishonest brokers will use high-pressure “boiler room” sales tactics to persuade investors to purchase stock. – (bold emphasis added in the above three paragraphs)

    Buying These Stocks
    ………………………………..

The second reason that many investors may be attracted to penny stocks is the conception that there is more room for appreciation and more opportunity to own more stock. If a stock is at $0.10 and rises by $0.05, you will have made a 50% return. This together with the with the fact that a $1,000 investment can buy 10,000 shares convinces investors that micro cap stock are a rapid surefire way to increase profits. For some reason, people think of the upside but forget about the downside. A $0.10 stock can just as easily go down $0.05 and lose half its value. Most often, these stocks do not succeed, and there is a high probability that you will lose your entire investment. – (bold emphasis added)

I recently increased my SPECULATIVE HOLDINGS in a company, Silver Standard Resources (SSRI) because:

    (1) I believe a good case can be made for intermediate-term investing in companies that will benefit by increases in the price of silver (relating, in part, to MAJOR PROBLEMS with the FUTURE VALUE of the U.S. Dollar) and

    (2) The stock price of SSRI has recently emerged from a major low so the opportunity for appreciation in its stock price is favorable.

btw: I am a firm believer that the BEST way for the AVERAGE INVESTOR to make money long term in the stock market is to buy and hold some high quality (eg. Morningstar 4 or 5 Star Rated) BALANCED (stock/bond combined) MUTUAL FUNDS and REINVEST THE DIVIDENDS in order to utilize DOLLAR-COST AVERAGING. Younger individuals should preferably invest using a Roth IRA, or if that is not possible due to income restrictions, a traditional IRA, to minimize tax related issues. Securities investment should be done using a capable, well established, financially sound brokerage company such as Fidelity or Charles Schwab.

That being said, it seems like NOW is a very poor time to be ENTERING an overpriced general market with any significant quantity of funds!

  22. ALERT : Identity theft at RBOptions.com

I just received the following email from Jordan Gatsby at RB Options. This email is essentially the first email that I have received from RB Otptions other than an autoreply email sent beforehand thanking me for signing up with them online.

Jordan Gatsby states in the email that he/she is an Executive Senior Broker and at the close of the email is listed as US and Canada executive broker and at the RB Options website is listed under Senior brokers.

In their email Gatsby asked me to install a software for remote access called TeamViewer on my computer.

Why would a binary options broker, or anyone (especially in a first contact email), ask me to install remote access software on my computer?

Here is what Jordan Gatsby at RB Options says:

In preparation for our next appointment, I do ask that you download Team Viewer software for desktop sharing, CLICK HERE ( If you cannot activate via link copy and past into your browser this adress: http://www.teamviewer.com )

Once we begin, this software will give you the ability to authorize me remote access (via password) to your computer, so that we may both watch the same screen in order for me to facilitate the training lessons.

As your Executive Senior Broker, my job will be divided into two parts; on the one hand I am going to teach you how to analyze the market and place trades by yourself. And on the other hand I will trade with you in order for us to discuss the strategies, and to assist you in making profits from the very beginning (as you are still a beginner).

Aside from just stealing your money and lying to you about everything and anything that they tell you there are many scam binary option websites which are also interested in accessing your computer to steal your identity any other useful and profitable data on your computer.

  24. @ AMERICAN ADVOCATE: Carl, at this point I could probably show you a video of Kevin West working in a boiler room bragging about scamming thousands/millions from customers (NOTE: I’m not implying such a video exists) and you would still continue to trade binary options with RB Options.

Its your money and you have the right to spend it as you like.

All that I can say at this point is that many large scams, e.g., networking marketing schemes, binary options, and other shady financial investments usually do pay some of their customers and sometimes all of them (at least for some amount of time).

People like yourself are great advertising for RBOptions.com and that’s something that is going to make them money from new clients.

In the Dominican Republic there was recently a network marketing scheme (it also operated around the world, mostly in Latin countries and was huge in Brazil) called Telexfree which I first heard of at some point in 2013 when it was becoming ‘trendy’ in the Dominican Republic.

A friend of mine in the Policia Nacional in RD made himself approximately $300,000 US dollars investing with them because he got in early.

Most of the investors (and there were MANY from all classes of society) lost all of their savings. Telexfree had a relatively large percentage of the people of the Dominican Republic so hooked that little private run affiliate stores were popping up all over the place as authorized Telefree stations were investors could deposit funds and withdraw funds.

In April of this year (2014) Telexfree shut down their system and disappeared with millions of dollars and that was the end of it.

The next day when customers (who hadn’t heard the news yet) arrived at Telexfree stores wanting to make deposits and withdraws this is an an example of what they found:

  26. @ AMERICAN ADVOCATE:

Carl, I don’t know much about investment systems.

If you you’d like help with investment systems I recommend that you speak with Bruce.

What I do have some understanding of are scam investments. A couple of areas are listed below:

    a. Network Marketing scams and multi-level marketing fraud

    b. Binary options or digital options

Investment scams, such as those listed above, are often seen by the poor or relatively poor as ways to get rich quick.

I’ve had a number of friends, family, acquaintance and contacts who have been swindled by network marketing scams and multi-level marketing fraud.

There are, of course, fairly wealthy and sophisticated people who are taken in by these scams as well.

    Example one: WOW Mobile

In 2010 I was working with Charles Edward Lincoln, III in Florida when we were introduced to a network marketing scheme called WOW Mobile. Their slogan was “Refer 3 and get yours for free!” Essentially, after you sign up with WOW Mobile, which entailed buying a sim-card and the first month of service, you had the opportunity to sign up three (3 people) friends, family or anyone and you would then get your cell phone service (talk, text and internet) for FREE for the rest of your life.

Who would believe something like that could be true? Many older gents like yourself did, Carl:

Wait, that’s not all that WOW Mobile offered. For a price (I think that $500 may have been the minimum) you could position yourself within their multi-level marketing scheme and if you could convince others to also join (and pay at least the $500 minimum) they would be places beneath you and you would receive a nice commission and also if those below you could sign up new members you would also receive a commission, and also with the third level down and so on.

Sound fantastic. Older gents like yourself then suckered in teenagers and 20-somethings with the ‘refer 3 get yours for free’ scam (free phone service and free internet, and it really worked for several months).

Then one day, all of the sudden, there was no WOW Mobile company. Everything shut down over night.

I remember I was invited (before WOW Mobile vanished) by a client of Charles Lincoln to a WOW Mobile seminar. I went twice. On one occasion I wore a 3 piece suit (vest included) and I brought a yellow legal tablet to take notes. I suspected beforehand that WOW Mobile was a scam but it was interesting to pick it apart.

I soon discovered that I was only person at seminar who was taking notes. I listened intently to everything. I soon began to draw some looks from some of the higher-ups at the meeting. It seemed that they could sense that I knew that something wasn’t right. One lady, older, with what was notable plastic surgery (she has the face of 30 year old, not bad looking at all – but she had the hands on a 90 year old woman) step up onto the stage and did the Orly Taitz thing where all the guys 40 and up where instantly in love with her and she spoke highly of WOW Mobile and detailed how much money she’d made with multi-level marketing company.

The main speaker was a young 24 year old kid who shouted and screamed vehemently (he was sweating and had towel) about all the money he was making and who people needed to invest more money.

Example two: Zeek Rewards aka Zeekler Rewards

I’m not going to go to much into Zeekler or Zeek rewards other than to say that I know young people who invested with them.

In the end it turned out to be a $600 Million dollar ponzi scheme.

The SEC says online marketer Paul Burks and his company raised more than $600 million from more than one million online customers through the website ZeekRewards.com since January 2011.

Customers were offered several ways to earn money through the ZeekRewards program, two of which involved purchasing securities in the form of investment contracts– they were not registered with the SEC as required under the federal securities laws.

If ZeekRewards customers continued to increasingly elect to receive their cash payouts rather than reinvesting their money to reach higher levels of rewards points then the website’s cash flows would exceed its total revenue leaving investors in the cold, the SEC noted.

Basically, customers were paid more (at least on the computer screen) if they would NOT withdraw their funds. It appeared more profitable to leave your money in the account and watch your balance rise quickly, even daily.

One day customers woke up in the morning and learned that the website was down and their money gone forever.

    Example three: binary options

I have an inside contact, a real person, at YTF Trade Limited which operates numerous binary option scam websites.

Binary options are EXTREMELY popular among ages 18 – 24. There are basically two groups of these ages 18 – 24 people:

    1. The scammers

    2. The online gambling crowd (formerly their thing was stuff like online poker).

    Carl, in closing please consider the following;

Intelligent, educated and investment savvy individuals likely have not ever heard of any of the above listed company names.

Why? Because they don’t pay attention to investments schemes which are obviously and overt scams.

If you remember, Carl, back when I first began reporting on binary options (Obama Binary Options) Bruce was not very familiar with binary options. He was certainly and VERY MUCH SO familiar with traditional options but not binary options.

Scams like binary options and networking marketing aren’t typically the sort of investments that wise, educated and investment savvy individuals are even interested in looking at or considering.

I invested $300.00 in a UK Co. called Ivory Options They asked me for ID’s and signed papers .
Initially a broker contacted me 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. I have had no further contact.
Yesterday (still believing!) I started to sign up with Royal Binary and a Pop-up came on and told me the system recognized my password and I did not go any further with this. On Monday I am expecting a call from them. Thank you for your Scam information. I guess I have lost my $300.00.

Thanks for posting your interesting but likely, as you now believe, SAD STORY regarding your experience in trading binary options.

I’m sure you have learned a lot in your experience and it will likely result in a hard lesson. $300 is a LOT of money.

You may be interested in reading the below referenced book regarding binary options trading. I think you may find the book interesting since you already have some experience yourself with the scam. Also, it might give you some added knowledge regarding the topic which will allow you to more effectively help some of your friends and acquaintances avoid the scam.

Lost $500k trading binary option through binary tilt, couldn’t withdraw my investment not to talk of my winnings. I had to hire a refund solution professional from Geminihacks(dot)(com) they recovered $150k (80% of my investment) happy to help other traders going through this. Geminihacks(dot)(com) feel free to reach out.

  31. I would advise all to contact —GeminiHacks (dot) (com) they helped me recover my invested money I had with 24option and Banc de Binary last week. 50k and 65k respectively for both companies I can’t help but post their services online. They also helped my neighbour with the same issue we got into together. This binary option scam issue is really turning to wide spread disease, I advise to contact Geminihacks (dot) (com) if you have fallen into the same binary option scheme by these brokers. So far they have recovered all the money from both my 24option and Banc de Binary accounts, contact them now to do the same.
