It’s funny how the human mind works!
When I look at the image on the Tee-Shirt shown in the post, I SEE OBAMA (appropriately identified in red and featuring his ‘other’ logo) mugging ME, standing there helplessly, holding onto my life’s possessions!
Government is FORCE!
Consider:
A hard working citizen (for example, a principled individual like Hank Rearden, a main character in the story, Atlas Shrugged) decides that he will no longer pay his federal taxes to support a corrupt government which has chosen to grossly violate his country’s established Constitution in many important ways.
First – The citizen likely receives one or more official letters in the mail, with implied threats, stating that he owes the government the back taxes.
Second – He likely receives one or more official phone calls stating that the back taxes must be paid or he will face dire legal consequences.
Third – He will likely be paid one or more visits at his home by armed and duly constituted authorities seeking to arrest him for failure to pay his back taxes.
Fourth – If he resists arrest, he may very likely be shot and killed in his own home.
The image shown on the featured Tee-Shirt is indeed humorous. However, below the surface humor, it tells a DARK AND COMPLEX TRUTH that the government wishes to be kept hidden from the general public.
