The Atlantic Wire: “Can Republican Governors Block Obamacare?” (Bobby Jindal and Scott Walker)

excerpt:  “Now that the Supreme Court has ruled Obamacare constitutional, a growing chorus of Republicans, including Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, are urging states to simply refuse to implement the law. Do they actually have that chance?”  (emphasis mine)

GOP governors stand fast against Obamacare

    Rick Moran
    6/30/2012

    Excerpts:

Republican governors vowed not to implement the state based insurance exchanges until after the election. There is also talk of resisting the Medicaid expansion called for in the bill.
    ………………………………………

The governor’s actions would be mostly symbolic. If a state fails to set up an insurance exchange, the bill authorizes HHS to do it for them. As far as Medicaid expansion, the governors could refuse but the people who would be eligible for the program would have to get hardship waivers or have their insurance subsidized by the rest of us. – (bold emphasis added)

Still, it makes sense not to spend any money on setting up a program that might be repealed in a few months. In that respect, the Republican governors are the best possible spokespeople to explain Obamacare to the voters.”

Up until the Supreme Court’s tragically flawed decision regarding Obamacare this last Thursday, I had intentionally avoided, as much as possible, even mentioning the topic over on the ‘InspectorSmith Forum’.

This was not because I consider the Obamacare topic unimportant. IT IS OF IMMENSE IMPORTANCE AND, IF FULLY IMPLEMENTED, IT COULD SERIOUSLY IMPACT OUR FUTURE AS A FREE REPUBLIC! However, it is also an extremely large and complex topic, which I feared would shift our focus from coverage of the Obama Eligibility Issue, our primary reason for existence.

However, the situation has now significantly changed for many people, at least in their perception. It is no longer just a horrendous piece of complex, dangerous legislation. It is now being cited as a reason to justify VOTING OBAMA OUT OF OFFICE next November.

I have no idea why the American People would pick Romney, who was apparently the originator for many of the basic ideas behind Obamacare, over Obama for this reason. However, this DOES seem to be current thinking of many individuals in the voting public. This line of reasoning doesn’t make any sense, but I’ll now try to capitalize on the trend on the ‘InspectorSmith Forum’ at every opportunity. Obama MUST be voted out of office in November, if we are given the opportunity.

On a different, but closely related topic — I think the recent SCOTUS decision on Obamacare probably gives a good indication on how the 1875 Minor v Happersett case, as applied to the Obama NBC eligibility issue might be interpreted! Obama appointees, Sotomayor and Kagan, will NOT recuse themselves as required. Chief Justice Roberts will vote with the left wing. — Whole new NBC definition precedent set! — Obama (born in Hawaii LOL) declared POTUS eligible!

I think that Sheriff Arpaio’s investigations leading to criminal charges associated with Obama’s LFBC forgery, Social Security Number fraud and Selective Service Registration fraud are much more likely to get the job done. Hopefully, he will be able to also release some ‘shocking’ new information at his next news conference.

MEANWHILE: Use the ‘Lucas Daniel Smith, Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate’ as a simple, powerful, supremely incriminating tool to ratchet up the pressure on OBAMA the ‘Marxist ‘Manchurian’ Muslim from Mombasa!

No. They can’t. SC decision was promoted by 26 (GOP) States action, remember ?

Romney Campaign Declaring Cease Fire on Health Care

    National Journal
    Josh Kraushaar
    7/3/2012

    Excerpt:

“In the aftermath of the Supreme Court health care ruling, the early conventional wisdom was that an unfavorable health care ruling at the court would be good for Republicans politically, even as it was a serious policy setback for conservatives. But that’s not shaping up to be the case. Mitt Romney, after giving a brief statement decrying the decision, has been virtually silent on criticizing the health care law. He’s been on vacation and his campaign has been giving off clear signals that it doesn’t want to make health care a major part of the election.

His senior adviser, Eric Fehrnstrom, went on MSNBC Monday and ended up agreeing with the Obama campaign’s spin that, even though the Supreme Court declared the individual mandate a tax, it really still is a penalty. Significantly, his campaign appears to want to take the most potent argument against the president on the health care subject off the table, likely out of fear the Romney himself is vulnerable when it comes to his health care record. He, after all, supported a mandate as governor of Massachusetts, and doesn’t want that to be considered a tax, either.

For an issue that’s supposedly potent against Democrats, Romney’s campaign is declaring a cease fire. This, even as the law polls unfavorably and it proved to be a motivating force for Republicans and disaffected independents in the 2010 midterms.

It’s becoming clear that Romney has decided to focus on the economy at the expense of everything else, even issues that could play to his political benefit. He’s avoided criticizing the administration’s handling of the botched Fast and Furious operation, even as it threatens to become a serious vulnerability for the president. He’s been silent in responding to Obama’s immigration executive order, not wanting to offend receptive Hispanics or appear like a flip-flopper. He appears more likely to tap a safe, bland running mate like Ohio Sen. Rob Portman or former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty who won’t do him any harm but won’t benefit him much either. If the economy continues to sputter, that safe strategy might be enough. If not, his options are limited.

Video: Know the TRUTH about the Government Health Care Bill H.R.3200 – Key Points

“Update: THIS IS A GUIDE TO THE ORIGINAL HEALTHCARE BILL H.R. 3200. Yes the healthcare bill HR3962 passed. Now it’s up to us to do all we can to repeal it!! This video is based on HR3200 but it is very closely related to HR3962 with the exception that HR3962 is deemed to be worse! If we don’t get this bill thrown in the trash where it belongs we can expect to see much if not all of what this video shows us. THE PDF.OF THE BILL HR3200 NOTED AT THE END OF THE VIDEO IS NO LONGER VALID. HERE IS THE UPDATED LINK TO THE PDF. http://candicemiller.house.gov/pdf/hr3200.pdf

I am well aware of the typeo in this video, I apologize but It’s too late to fix it now.

Healthcare is only a powerful stepping stone to their government takeover plan. Open your eyes America, they don’t care what “we the people” want or need, they simply want control.

    Aug. 2009

Original Bill (Video): This is a point by point description (A guide not the actual reading of the bill!) of the Government Healthcare plan taken from the ACTUAL proposed bill H.R.3200 http://candicemiller.house.gov/pdf/hr3200.pdf

Though not opposed to healthcare reform most Americans do not want this KIND of reform which is a dangerous UN-AMERICAN UNCONSTITUTIONAL We want reform that makes sense and that is helpful for all not a destructive death warrant for the unborn and the elderly. We want government to stay out of our personal life decisions period. This is America !!”
