Jindal is not an 1875 MvH NBC eligible candidate for VP, of course, but let’s try to think like RINOs here in order to predict what Romney might do under the circumstances —

Romney, the SKUNK that he is, may assume the vast majority of the conservative voters will, like me unfortunately, ultimately decide to vote for him even if he picks an ineligible running mate like Jindal. The reason for this is, of course, we absolutely MUST TRY TO VOTE OBAMA OUT OF OFFICE IN NOVEMBER IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY!

It is unthinkable to SIT THIS ELECTION OUT, DEPRESSED AND CRYING because Romney has purposely picked an ineligible candidate to throw in our faces!

However, I have a gut feeling that Romney WON’T pick an ineligible candidate like Jindal or Rubio. Remember the recent ‘trial balloon headline, ‘Marco Rubio Not Being Vetted to Be Mitt Romney’s Running Mate’?

    http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/06/marco-rubio-not-being-vetted-to-be-mitt-romneys-running-mate/

Although Romney HAD to, for obvious political reasons, subsequently deny the story, I think he actually authorized it and was purposely sending it as a signal to help get us ‘eligibility conscious’ conservatives on board. I hope this is the case.

    — but, trying to realistic here, let’s try to understand what the RINOs are thinking, since sadly, THEY ARE CURRENTLY IN CONTROL OF BOTH THE POLITICS AND THE MONEY. For this I must consult the ‘ultimate RINO’, David Frum:

    Bobby Jindal for vice president

    5/2/2012

    http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/02/opinion/frum-vice-president-rubio-jindal/index.html

    Excerpt:

“… Republicans should be cautious about assuming that they can sway Latino votes with the symbolic politics of a Rubio nomination.

What would work better are policy changes and message changes to win back the 9 points worth of Latino votes that Republicans lost between the elections of 2004 and 2008.

Republicans tend to assume that immigration is the issue that most moves Latino voters. If that assumption was ever true, it is not true now. Latinos were hit hard by the economic crisis that began in 2007. They were promised “hope” by Barack Obama in 2008. Those hopes have been largely disappointed. But what are Republicans offering instead?

And to the extent that symbolic politics can sway votes, Republicans should be looking to groups more receptive to the core Republican message than Mexican-Americans are likely to be.

The Asian-American population is also growing fast, and many Asian groups — Vietnamese-Americans and Indian-Americans to name only two — are gaining their success in small business. They are natural targets for Republican recruitment.

In Britain, Australia, and Canada, conservative parties have done well with these immigrant groups. In fact, in the federal election of 2010, Canada’s Conservatives won a plurality of the vote among voters who spoke Chinese at home.

For these voters, inclusion does matter. Symbols of inclusion can work.

As symbols go, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is a doozy: a brilliant policy mind with an inspirational life story who has run an effective government in corruption-tainted Louisiana. He can talk data with Romney and credibly sit at the kitchen tables of the struggling middle class.”

UPDATE ON SOME OF THE LIKELY VP CANDIDATES CURRENTLY BEING CONSIDERED BY ROMNEY

Romney holding weekend retreat with VP potentials but without Rubio

    Excerpt:

Presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney is holding an exclusive summer retreat this weekend that will include appearances by those most frequently mentioned as potential vice presidential choices, according to an invitation obtained by The Daily Caller.

But there’s one potential running mate noticeably absent from the event: Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

Special guests, according to the invitation, include Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan and South Dakota Sen. John Thune. All have been mentioned as possible running mates. – (bold emphasis added)

Rubio spokesman Alex Conant told TheDC on Thursday that Rubio was invited to the retreat, but is unable to attend because of scheduling conflicts.

The invitation for the “Romney Victory Founding Members Retreat” says the event will take place at the Chateaux in Park City, Utah from Friday to Sunday. The retreat is for Romney’s top campaign donors — those who gave $50,000 as individuals or $150,000 as couples to the Romney campaign.

The following is a brief clarification and summary of my thoughts, current activities and plans regarding Romney choosing Jindal, or any other ineligible VP candidate:

    * I don’t think that Romney WILL choose an ineligible VP candidate! He certainly doesn’t have any objections to doing this due to any pesky ‘Article II Constitutional’ legal requirements. He and his unprincipled cohorts in the dominant RINO wing of the Republican party, like Obama and the almost totally-in-control DINO wing of the Democratic party, have no respect for the Constitution. They intend to violate it whenever it suits their needs. However, regarding Romney and the VP eligibility issue, HE JUST WANTS TO AVOID THE HASSLE!

    * I am doing everything I can NOW to convince Romney not to choose an ineligible VP candidate. I hope and assume a large number of American patriots are doing likewise.

    * If he does announce an ineligible VP candidate at the Republican National Convention at the end of August in Tampa Bay, I will immediately start to work to have this ineligible candidate thrown off the ballot and replaced with an eligible candidate prior to the November elections . I will do everything in my power to encourage other patriots to do the same. That is — legal HASSLE, HASSLE, HASSLE is what Romney will face if he chooses to violate our Constitution on this critically important issue!

    * IF the American people are presented with an ineligible VP Republican candidate in November, I WILL reluctantly vote for the ticket. Letting Obama walk away with this coming, historically critical election by default is UNTHINKABLE! To paraphrase my fellow 2nd Amendment defenders, they will have to pry the ballot from my cold, dead fingers in November to keep me from voting!

    * My encouragement for legal HASSLE of Romney will continue, during his entire four year term, and into his second term if he is re-elected, should he repeat his previous choice of an ineligible VP candidate in 2016!

  4. ARNOLD CARL TAPP says:

STEADY MAN , I BELIEVE YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT ROMNEY WANTING TO AVOID A HASSLE BY CHOOSING AN INELIGIBLE CANDIDATE . SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK I SEND MESSAGES TO MORE THAN 260 SOURCES OF ONLINE NEWS , MAKING IT VERY CLEAR THAT ” WE THE PEOPLE ” WOULD RAISE HELL AND FILE CHALLENGES IN ALL 50 STATES IF AN INELIGIBLE CANDIDATE IS CHOSEN THE MESSAGES ARE SENT TO ROMNEY’S CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS ALSO .
IF HE HAS A BRAIN , HE WILL NOTICE THAT WE ARE VERY SERIOUS .

  5. ARNOLD CARL TAPP says:

THESE MESSAGES ARE ALSO SENT TO THE OFFICE OF MARCO RUBIO .

  6. GreatKim says:

    @ ARNOLD CARL TAPP:
    messages or threats ?

  7. ARNOLD CARL TAPP says:

NOT WORTH WASTING MY TIME .

  8. If you ask me it will probably be Romney & Jindal vs Obama & Biden. Not that I approve of this or that I would ever vote for any of them.
