Jerome R. Corsi was unrealistic in his 8/25/2009 WND article titled ‘eBay Birth Certificate Called Fraud’ when he included the following two statements in his list of claimed ‘defects’ of the 'Lucas Daniel Smith, Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate':

Neither of the above comments would normally be used by a reasonable person in an attempt to justify declaring the ‘Lucas Daniel Smith, Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate’ a ‘forgery’.
Regarding Comment #5 above by Dr. Corsi: Since when is a subjectively-viewed image on a document ‘appearing too perfect’ a ‘defect’?
Furthermore, much of the appearance of ‘perfection’ of the image is undoubtedly related to the dense black color of the footprint. Any footprint edge-smudges present on the original, archive document at the hospital have apparently been largely merged and obliterated. The dense black color of the footprint image was likely caused, at least in part, by an improperly adjusted copy machine that was used to print the certified copy of the birth certificate, which was obtained directly from the birth hospital by Mr. Smith.

Research work is in progress concerning the still questionable ‘pristine’ copy of an Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate which was obtained in late 2011. Mr. Smith will update us on developments concerning this new document if and when they become available.
