What Robert Reich’s Obama/Clinton Fantasy Doesn’t Address: Why Would Hillary Make Herself a Scapegoat for an Obama 2012 Loss?

"Robert Reich is the latest writer of fantasy and fiction who claims that Barack Obama will remove Joe Biden from the 2012 ticket and replace him with Hillary Clinton (before replacing her at the State Department with a newly unemployed Biden). Because Hillary Derangement Syndrome (HDS) still runs strong and deep in far too many people, Reich probably knows that writing anything related to Hillary Clinton becoming Vice President will get him a lot of attention — and the HDS-afflicted in political circles would run feverishly wild with this fantasy without ever bothering to ask a very simple question of Reich (or any of the other pundits who’ve put this “Hillary replacing Biden” fetish forward).
Why would Hillary Clinton make herself a scapegoat for an Obama 2012 loss by jumping onto this ticket?
Hillary is a lot of things, but she’s not stupid folks.
She’s also never been someone who has gone out of her way to save Obama from anything — and why should she, after what he did to her in 2008.
I’m sure if Hillary Clinton really wanted to be Vice President she, not Biden, would have been on the 2008 ticket with Obama. Hillary gains nothing by joining the 2012 ticket when all indications point to a loss for Obama (unless Republicans foul things up for themselves and snatch Defeat from the jaws of Victory yet again)."
