Jerome R. Corsi was wrong in his 8/25/2009 WND article titled ‘eBay Birth Certificate Called Fraud’ when he stated the following under his list of claimed ‘defects’ of the 'Lucas Daniel Smith, Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate':

The following is an excerpt from the 9/5/2010 article titled, ‘Exclusive: Lucas Daniel Smith Speaks with the Post & Email’ by Sharon Rondeau:

This map is significant in that it labels the coast of the Kenya Colony as being the Kenya Protectorate. Page 635 of the above cited encyclopedia article states:

“Change of Status: During this period of strain the change from a protectorate to a crown colony was effected (July 1920). The new colony was named after Mount Kenya, the most commanding natural feature of the country. The coast lands which formed part of the Sultanate of Zanzibar were not annexed but became the Kenya Protectorate.” (underline emphasis added)
