Does the Obama Regime Control the Wayback Machine?
“FIGHTTHESMEARS” LINK IN INTERNET ARCHIVE REDIRECTS TO OBAMA POLITICAL ACTION WEBSITE
    by Sharon Rondeau

(Dec. 20, 2014) — In 2008, a website titled “Fight the Smears” was launched by Obama’s presidential campaign with the alleged purpose of combating alleged disinformation about Barack Hussein Obama and his wife Michelle as Barack sought the presidency.

On June 12, 2008, an image known as a “short-form” birth certificate purported to be Barack Obama’s was posted at The Daily KOS, followed by news outlets such as the St. Petersburg (FL) Times/Tampa Bay Times and The Los Angeles Times. Much later, the White House website posted the image along with the release of Obama’s alleged more detailed “long-form” birth certificate.

The color scheme of the short-form certificate differs from that of the image posted at Politifact and other “news” websites. Reportedly, three different versions of the long-form “document” were submitted by various parties to the Alabama Supreme Court in a case that was decided earlier this year as accurately predicted by The Post & Email.

The short-form Certification of Live Birth showed no raised seal indicating its authenticity by the issuing government agency.

On June 17, 2008, Amy Hollyfield of the St. Petersburg Times reported that Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) spokeswoman Janice Okubo verified that the Certification of Live Birth was “a valid Hawaii state birth certificate.” However, on June 28 of that year, Israel Insider, which now appears to be offline, was reported to have contacted Okubo for comment on the image, to which Okubo reportedly “confirm[ed] that a valid ‘certification of live birth’ would need to have an embossed seal and signature and that it can only be printed and mailed. There is no such thing as an electronic only certification.”

The St. Petersburg Times and Politifact appeared to be working together to dispel rumors that one of Obama’s names was “Muhammed.” Politifact incorrectly reported that FighttheSmears was launched on June 13, 2008.

Hollyfield claimed that a White House spokesman, Tommy Vietor, had sent the image as an attachment in an email but did not show the email.

Politifact reported that the Obama “campaign” released the short-form image, although it originally claimed that the Obama campaign had “declined” to provide Obama’s birth certificate.

In May 2009, then-White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs stated that “we posted it [the short-form birth certificate] on the internet.” Gibbs stated that although the Certification of Live Birth lacked details such as the birth hospital, occupations of the parents, the doctor’s signature and registrar’s stamp, it was Obama’s only “birth certificate.”

Now defunct, this writer recalls that FighttheSmears claimed that Barack Obama was born a dual citizen of the United States and Kenya in Honolulu, HI on August 4, 1961, facts that have not yet been substantiated.

In searching the Wayback Machine for FighttheSmears content, the url and archiving history appear:

Wayback Machine has logged 462 backups of FighttheSmears beginning on June 12, 2008, the date on which the short-form birth certificate first appeared on the internet at The Daily KOS.

By contrast, Atty. Leo Donofrio’s former website, naturalborncitizen.blogspot.com, has been saved only twice since September 20, 2011. Between December 8, 2009 and December 18, 2014, The Post & Email has been saved 157 times.

When a user attempts to access FighttheSmears content through the Wayback Machine, the following appears, which links to Obama’s political action group, “Organizing for Action:”

Organizing for Action teaches willing “progressives” how to be “community organizers,” which Obama reportedly once was in Chicago prior to becoming involved in politics.

When clicking on the “FighttheSmears” link in the Politifact article, the reader sees a quick glimpse of the caption “Fight the Smears” and is then redirected to the Organizing for Action screen page.

The url of the screenshot appears to show that the group “Attack Watch,” which strove to discredit Obama’s detractors during the 2012 presidential campaign, was involved in the redirecting of the user from FighttheSmears to Organizing for Action.

In 2009, former Obama communications director told an audience, “We controlled the media” in regard to the 2008 campaign. Since at least 2008, Obama operatives known as “Obots” have utilized multiple identities to steer discussion away from Obama’s dubious past and questionable constitutional eligibility to serve as president in accordance with Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution. A law enforcement investigation spanning more than three years determined that some “Obots” are employed at taxpayer expense at DARPA, a division of the Department of Defense.

The same group of investigators determined in March 2012 that Obama’s long-form birth certificate, released on April 27, 2011 by the White House, and his purported Selective Service registration form, are “computer-generated forgeries.” - Source link. © 2014, The Post & Email.
