(P&E) — On Wednesday night’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” commentator Monica Crowley told O’Reilly that Barack Hussein Obama on Tuesday employed “vitriol” in “an incredibly obtuse, petulant speech, and it was all directed at Donald Trump.”
Crowley was referring to Obama’s heated public address clearly aimed at Trump’s contention that immigrants and “refugees” from Islamic-dominant countries should be halted at least temporarily until better vetting of terrorist connections can be assured following the Sunday morning assault on a nightclub by a radicalized Islamic.
O’Reilly does not appear to have posted the “Talking Points” segment on the free side of his website, although other segments with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and commentator Dennis Miller are summarized.
Commentator Eboni Williams was O’Reilly’s other guest during the segment, which is referenced on the internet.
Crowley’s comments responded to O’Reilly’s wherein O’Reilly claimed that Obama wishes to retaliate against Trump for his raising of the “birther” issue, referencing Trump’s 2011 public questioning as to why Obama had not released his “long-form” birth certificate to purportedly prove that he was born in the U.S. and presumably eligible to serve as President of the United States.
Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution requires that the president and commander-in-chief be a “natural born Citizen.” While most Americans had understood the term to mean “born in the country,” other historical interpretations state that the candidates parents must also be citizens at the time of the candidates birth so as to preclude any foreign allegiance.
During the 2016 presidential primary season, questions arose regarding the constitutional eligibility of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada to a Cuban-citizen father and presumed U.S.-citizen mother. The eligibility of Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who suspended his campaign in mid-March, was also challenged because his parents were still Cuban nationals when he was born in the state of Florida in 1971.
On May 11, a highly-reliable source to The Post & Email reported that Cruz’s mother became a Canadian citizen at some point while she and Rafael Bienvenido Cruz operated a seismic-data company in Calgary, Alberta roughly between 1968 and 1974. Cruz was born on December 22, 1970 and claimed his U.S.-citizen mother as the key to his “natural born Citizen” status in the United States.
Renewed debate about “gun control” and a federal assault weapons ban have ensued since Sunday’s atrocity committed by 29-year-old Omar Mateen, whose father arrived in the U.S. from Afghanistan in the 1980s. On a YouTube channel and his Facebook page, Seddique Mateen has made political statements involving both Afghani and U.S. affairs while stating that the U.S. has offered many in his position “a good life.”
In what some believe was deceptive reporting, O’Reilly has insisted that the “birther” controversy is a non-starter beginning in 2009. In 2014, the prime-time Fox News Channel host reiterated that he had investigated the short-form Certification of Live Birth (COLB) image posted on a number of websites from an unnamed source during the 2008 presidential campaign.
While Hawaii statute prohibits anyone without “a direct and tangible interest” to obtain copies of vital records, O’Reilly claimed that his investigation obtained Obama’s records and found that the COLB is authentic. He did not show footage of the purported investigation.
According to a March 30, 2011 Politico article, O’Reilly “slapped back guest Donald Trump on his show Wednesday night for embracing the ‘birther’ chatter about President Barack Obama — and insisted he doesn’t think it’s heartfelt rhetoric by the by the real estate mogul.”
Neither O’Reilly nor any Fox News host subsequently reported that after the White House released what it said was a scan of a certified copy of Obama’s long-form birth certificate in April 2011, the image was declared fraudulent by several experts. Further, a criminal investigation launched in September 2011 declared approximately six months later at a press conference that the long-form image is a “computer-generated forgery.”
The Maricopa County Cold Case Posse included in its findings that Obama’s purported Selective Service registration form mailed to an unknown number of FOIA requesters since 2008 is also fraudulent. This publication was one of those requesters.
Just days before the release of the “long-form,” O’Reilly stated on air that ““We’re going to put this to bed tonight. He does have a legitimate birth certificate. The state of Hawaii says they have it. And we have no reason not to believe that.”
The term “birther” was coined in the early years of the Obama regime to marginalize and ridicule anyone questioning Obama’s claimed birth in Hawaii and other elements of his life story.
Cold Case Posse lead investigator Michael Zullo has said that the investigation, which remains ongoing, has found no evidence that Obama was ever in Hawaii prior to the age of two. One life narrative written by the Associated Press states that Obama was taken to Indonesia by his mother at the age of two, while others say that he went overseas at the age of six.
According to the AP in a 1990 article featuring Obama as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, Obama’s claimed father is reported to have attended Oxford in the UK and Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts, while other narratives say that Obama Sr. was a student at the University of Hawaii, where he met Obama’s purported mother, Stanley and Dunham, and then went to Harvard.
The AP has not responded to The Post & Email’s questioning of the discrepancy.
In his White House biography, Obama does not name either of his parents.
In a broadcast several years ago, O’Reilly attempted to explain Obama’s purported Social Security number which appears to have been issued from the state of Connecticut by stating that because Obama’s father attended Harvard, he might have lived in Connecticut and applied for his son’s Social Security number from there. No evidence was presented to support that speculation.
Following the Cold Case Posse’s first press conference on March 1, 2012, Zullo stated that Fox News host Sean Hannity had booked him for an appearance that evening but canceled it at the last minute as a result of pressure from upper management.
Like O’Reilly, left-leaning media have worked diligently to protect Obama’s murky past from scrutiny and to utilize Saul Alinsky-type tactics to silence anyone citing the Cold Case Posse’s declarations of the forgery of government documents, which is a federal felony.
